I am fine with Shock arrow charts being different, but I understand the issue.
I am not sure how I feel about it.

Haha, the Facebook page can get pretty ridiculous yeah

Although, Facebook <--> eAmuse connectivity doesn't sound half bad.. It'd be useful for saving screenshots to a DDR album, or score comparisons for when you have someone as a friend on Facebook but don't have their rival code etc. (of course, we don't even have eAmuse so it'd be entirely useless to most of us).
I second this. Facebook/Twitter integration is on DJMAX Technika and ReRave, and I think the feature is neat, for showing off scores or tracking play progress. Another game also on e-amuse could surely also benefit from this integration.

I don't get all the hate on Shock Arrow charts when they're done correctly, which, as of X3, they are.
Obviously, sh*t copy-paste charts like Disturbia
from X2 (easiest
ever due to being copied from
) are terrible, but how many songs from X3 have charts like those? None. For Shock charts that actually add an entirely new stepchart, they can be amazing. I can say right away that I would have never played smooooch, Memeshikute, Mermaid girl, or Twinkle Heart if they had not had their Shock Arrow charts.
That said, I agree that they should stay
-only, as they are effectively a "bonus" chart catered to "hardcore" players. If, say, a boss song had only a
chart and it had Shock Arrows, I would totally understand if people hated it, since there's now no way to play the song on any kind of "boss" level without the shocks. But if Konami just keeps them the way they've been doing them in X3, that would be great.

The next AC release:
-For it to not be called "X4"
-Crossovers from IIDX Resort Anthem; there are a whole bunch of song choices that would be a great fit, especially BLUST OF WIND, Cansei de S NIK, and Vermillion.
-A license song from S2TB Files 2: Activate, like COME BACK TO MY HEART in X3
-More stops/slowdowns/fast BPMs in non-boss charts; Programmed Universe and CG Project are a few good examples.
The next US/EU CS Release:
-The remaining X2 Konami originals/Bemani crossovers that didn't fit on the DDR II disc: BALLAD THE FEATHERS, going up, leaving..., MAX LOVE, Melody Life, WH1TE RO5E, etc.
-All the new Konami originals from X3, and some previews from the next game
-A link with jukebeat, somehow, maybe through Konami IDs

This. Golden Palms and BLUST OF WIND sound like they could have a fun stepchart. (IMO BLUST OF WIND sounds like it's from a Sonic game too...)Personally, I would love to see some songs from Ultramix 4 to make it to the arcade. Songs like Cosmic Hammer, Desire (Comet Remix), and Tooryanse (tekno children mix) are some of the many that come to my mind.

I'd like to see some of the Universe 2 originals in the arcades myself. To name a few, Orange Sky, Synergy, Somebody In Da House, Elfadiciell and Emi's Song would all be great. (I'd also like to see a
chart for Synergy because it could have used one.)

Yeah, it does. I could imagine if a 3D remake of Sonic CD was done, this would fit perfectly for Palmtree Panic.
Something I would like to see, as far as licenses go, is BEMANI artists remixing existing licenses. If it could be done for the BEST OF ELECTRO STEP album, it can be done in DDR.

I've always been wanting a BPM Machine Counter.
It is a Circular Thing that counts the BPM
For Example If the BPM rises to 300 then The BPM Machine Counter will also rise and show the Current BPM
If the BPM goes High it will also go High and Also when it goes Low.
This will be VERY Helpful especially for those who likes Boss Songs. Im hoping this thing would be done and seen the onward versions of DDR

To be honest that sort of thing is nothing new. In Workout Mode of Euromix 1 (I'd assume 3rdMix PS1 would have this as well?) they had a Speed Meter that went from 1-8 depending on the speed of the song. Not to mention Euromix 2 and its Spinning Cube of Death.
It's a nice addition. Great for teaching people about BPM who don't quite get what the numbers mean.

Perhaps the BPM counter should flash, at their respective BPM speeds. ITG had an arrow on the left side of the currently selected difficulty that moved to the song's BPM. Flashing the numbers could possibly give casual players a better idea of what they're up against. Maybe after 200BPM, the counter should start showing shades of red (I.e. 200 and under is white, 250 is 50% red, 300+ is 100% red.) This shade transition would only apply in the 200's.

3rd/4th/BEST HITS/EXTRA MIX all had that, but only in Workout Mode. And really, it just counted between 100 and 180; anything faster or slower still just maxed the meter one way or the other.
From DDRMAX on (maybe 5th Mix? That was forever ago...), it's actually displayed just to the side of the song banner. DDR X (arcade) was the first mix since then I'd seen that stopped showing it.

A new kind of RISKY mode, not just the automatic-fail single MISS. Catered to players who want to have a little more of a challenge than just aiming for PFC. If "Love is the Power ~re:born~" requires a PFC to pass, then why not make a new kind of RISKY mode? I mean add a RISKY option for PERFECT (holy crap!), GREAT (hmmm), GOOD (for full-combo masters), BOO, MISS, N.G. (for the ones who somehow like charts with shock arrows). N.G. counts as a MISS. So if you set RISKY to GOOD, and if you score a GOOD during the song, the song ends.
Some revivals, just three mentioned below:
- "SO DEEP (PERFECT SPHERE REMIX)"
- "WITCH DOCTOR (GIANT TOONS VERSION)"
- "TRIBAL DANCE (ALMIGHTY MIX)"
Make a new mode comprised entirely of remixes. Something like: DDR (next version) vs. DDR ReMIX
I've encountered some problems when I was searching for songs that I really like - only to find out that I was playing their remixes all along. It's a little stressful when the songlist for DDR just keeps increasing with future releases and we still have to deal with the very limited time because there might be other credits for other players.
Oh yeah, songs that do not have such obvious BPM digits, like 200, 225, 240... I'd like to play to "CALICO CAT ROCK" (246) and anything that has quite an odd BPM
2MB, please remix "bag"?
They should make it so shock arrows send electric shocks to the bar.
I'd imagine a judge proclaiming GUILTY as a verdict of a criminal trial and that the accused will be put to death by DDR electrocution...

I think he meant during the song. The BPM changes would be reflected in real time on the screen like so many custom ITG2 theme. Possibly with a way to alert players of upcoming changes right before they occur.

I actually want Paula Terry back as announcer. All announcers say "(multiple of 100) combos!" whenever your combo hits a multiple of 100. Not Paula Terry. We know when you hit 100 combos because it will tell you in the center of the screen. The announcer doesn't need to address it.
