Do you guys plan on getting better mp3's for some of these songs? (Like Luna..)
It's just really bad to see some songs really loud and others really low.

Yeah... there's a reason why I always run my MP3 through ACID before I step it.

Actually, the patch has the new Challenge chart, a level 14, in it. The video is also just an HD cut of yours straight from the source.


You know what, I'll do that just for newcomers' convenience. I might even package it as a mini-game with a hopefully updated theme.


If somebody ever ripped the graphics from the Beatmania series, I would love to know, because I had to screencap that from a gameplay video. So, unless that happens, it's stuck at that quality. Also, I made the banner later, and each time I remake one graphic to get up to par with the other, I always overshadow it. If there's enough demand, I guess I'll do it.


The problem is that all these songs are from multiple sources with different volume standards. Not to mention sometimes even the artists don't keep the same standards. Eurobeat Brony's stuff from Super Ponybeat is all over the place in terms of volume!

I've always amplified the audio by ear and individually, which usually works, but sometimes leads to pretty big mistakes, so I really could use someone with a good ear to help us regulate our volume, be it through ACID or not. If anyone is able to, please post here.

Also, why not increase variety...and move away from euro?

There actually is a lot of variety in the tracklist, it's just that a lot of the contest files were from the eurobeat selection. When the pack demo comes out, there will be 4 additional non-euro songs added:

Doctor Who / JAKAZiD [TECHNO]
Good Girl (Sub.Sound Remix) / Dasha + The Living Tombstone [ELECTRO-HOUSE]
Love is in Bloom (Remix) / The Aviators [ELECTRO-POP]
Yellow / Coldplay [ALTERNATIVE]

Coldplay, nice! Did not expect to see them appear in a pack like this haha!

I'm new here and I'm really interested in trying out these stepfiles but I'm lost on how to download them in any way (individually or as a pack). Help?

The full demo is now out! As mentioned, it comes with the 15 songs, and it also has a slightly modified version of the Trotmania beta theme.


IMPORTANT NOTES

-I was unable to test whether the program defaults to the Trotmania theme. If it defaults to the Default SM5 theme, head to Options -> Appearance Options -> Change Theme setting to Trotmania
-I couldn't get preferred as the default sort press left and right at the same time and select the first item to the left to change to preferred sort.

Someone made a Butterfly parody about Fluttershy. You saw this coming a mile away, and this should definitely be in here.

I got another one coming somewhat soon, I made 2 cuts of the same song called "Art of the Dress (Always Stressed Mix) / PinkiePieSwear"
The first cut is 2:27 and the second is 2:03.

Well, now that the full tracklist is revealed, I can publicly post what's left before release:

I Am No Hero - and
Cloudsdale EVOLVED (A/B/C) - and
Cloudsdale EVOLVED (C) -

While our category isn't completely updated, all songs now have banners and complete charts (except those). Opportunity and yellow head joe also now have proper graphic sets. All the show tunes are now in good sync (with Opportunity still the weak chain, but I digress) and have HD Unwatermarked videos. (Which will not be uploaded to the category as they're way too heavy)

I'm sorry, but I had to leave for personal resaons. (and I feel ashamed about it, honestly)

I see the pack is almost complete, goob job.
I am a little sad because I hadn't the opportunity to contribute much...

I might try to finish my incomplete doubles chart (if you want to) but I can't promise anything, i'm not particularly busy, but I'm a little depressed so I don't feel like stepping these days.

I wish the best for the future of this theme and pack.

One more thing: Turns out our song count before was 51. Excluding the EVOLVED alternates, we were one song short of 50 unique tunes. Therefore, I decided to start work on Smile Like You Mean It / The Killers. I have the sync, video, and first chart ready, and I have a handle on it. It will be debuted in the final release.
