I would like to participate in the 2011 summer contest, but I have a few questions:

-Do you have to submit a file every week, or can you choose which weeks to submit a file?
-Are banners or Backgrounds required?
and can you be voted out of the tournament?

I have a general question:
How to cut a song?

I found a song I`d like to step for week 1, but have no idea how to cut it... (it`s 4 minutes long, you want 2:30)

Oh and how to vote for simfiles? Will there be a special feature for it?

But yeah, I use audacity to cut songs, it's really easy, and also free.

Oh I have another question:

Can I make Standard

There would be no difference in the charts...just in the names of the difficulties.

It would look weird in ITG when there would be a Hard 9 chart and no Expert chart.
So I`d like to put the charts in so that I have an Expert chart and the Easy would be the Medium one.
idk if you bother about the difficulty names as long as there are at least 3 charts.
Difficulties would be 5-7-9 something like that
Just would like to know if thats okay.

It is... I need at least 1.30 hours for that...
I need about 6 hours for the Hard chart...
I`m slooow that stepping stuff...
