That's dumb, paying twice.

This would suck big time

If this is the case, I'll stop purchasing for the meantime and if my assuming gift will come to me next year, I'll just continue my purchasing for playing on iPad.

You do not have to pay twice.

I've put all song packs on all my iDevices and was only charged the first time I bought the packs. It looks like you have to buy it again, but as soon as you say "Purchase" it pops a message saying "It appears you have already purchased the pack so it will be downloaded free of charge" or something to that effect.

It might appear since it's on a different device, you need to download the songs again on the other device right?

I've redownloaded a song pack I previously bought on my iPad on my iPhone for free twice, once after I restored my iPhone to factory settings.

Are you sure it was on the same iTunes account? Because when I redownloaded Jubeat onto my iPad after restoring it, all the song packs where downloaded along with it.

STORY TIME

My dad downloaded jukebeat when it came out. I asked him to get the song packs because I didn't know the iTunes password. I watched him do it on the first iPad. While I was playing on the first iPad, he had a minor fit because he thought he had to rebuy the packs for the second. It was kinda awkward so I left the room. I came back and both iPads had the song packs. I asked him about it just now and it turns out he didn't have to rebuy them after all...

Feel terrible for feeding false info (sorry) but at least I can feel less selfish when I ask my dad for more song packs

This is good info to know if I ever do get an iPhone. It should be good with the same iTunes account.

Well considering there are twice as many users playing Jubeat verses Jukebeat, it's not really surprising.

It makes no sense to not release any KOs our end as it costs them next to nothing to do if it's already in the Japanese version.

It's as if Konami doesn't want us to give them money.

They're more focused on the group that has the bigger numbers. I'm not complaining myself, since I already have Jubeat and the song packs. Would be dumb for me to buy the same songs again for Jukebeat. But yeah. They have the song packs already set up for Jubeat. Not really all that hard to translate, if needed, and repack it for Jukebeat.

for that matter, jukebeat != jubeat >_> I can't get used to the touchscreen at all, I need my physical buttons to time worth anything

Since both KoA and KoE have dropped any indication of a native release, we're just gonna have to live with this unless an arcade somehow gets their hands on a Japanese cabinet.

Well at least it has DLC.
