Wasn't the "I'm in serious shit" line censored in Dancing Stage SuperNOVA? They used the 'clean' version, where she just goes "I'm in serious shhhhht" which isn't much better but it's not as obvious. Tongue

Or was she just awful at pronouncing it...?
It's edited out in the song, but it's there if you have lyrics turned on.

As in the text on the screen? Okay, that's funny. I need a screencap of that.

EDIT: I lied, I wasn't aware there was an actual clean edit. Still funny though

"DDR-ing regularly again!~"
And you know what changed DDR's rating to 10+?
That song by E-Rotic called, "In the Heat of the Night," which is pretty much the cleanest song by them? I seriously don't see why they had to do that.

By the way, Faint doesn't say "shit". It sounds like he's singing "Believe this shit is real" when the actual lyrics are "Believe this is real." My buddy and I blame bad english on that one.

It's tame alright...in comparison to the rest of their songs. If you read the lyrics, you'd understand why it's rated E10+

Anyway, DDR games (in the US) has been in the E10+ territory before the rating was introduced in 2005. MAX2 is (IMHO) one of them, because of "The Whistle Song".

I remember DDR Extreme USA was the last DDR game that was rated E. Maybe not then

I was pleased to see news on the game, but when I saw the box art, it was not what I expected. I'd almost go so far as to say this boxart is terrible. After doing such a great job with HP3's, why they downgraded to something like this is beyond me. And seriously... this had better not be the final name choice. I'm desperately hoping this will get some changes before the game ships out...

I just watched the gameplay video of the game, and I'm disappointed. The one beef I had with HP3 is back for this game, and that is the fact that the old HP2 announcer is still giving comments during gameplay. Why are they so lazy? They at least need to rerecord the lines with the new announcer... Also, those dancers are doing the wrong moves! They're doing the mirror of the real move. Is there any news of fixing these two problems?

"On ZiV I'm like Princess Diana"
The dancers only do that in Choreography Mode, not in normal gameplay mode.

I've bought every HP game from 1-3, but I think I'll pass on this release until it comes as a standalone release. $70 is just wayyyy too much for it. I just don't get why Konami has abandoned the idea of launching with standalone releases. Seems stupid for fans that have stuck with them... we don't need 4 pads!

OK, so I get that songs use CD covers instead of banners now, right - this the age of the iPod, after all.
But why do they use ALBUM covers? There's single art for each and every licenced song out there, and what happens when there's two songs off the same album anyway?

*grumble over*

Was there ever a case where they've used two songs from the same album?

In Universe 3 Chinese Edition, there were a few duplicate covers.

It's stupid. For example, Hottest Party 3 should have used these:

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/1/1e/Disturbia_Single.jpg
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/b/bd/LadyGagaJustDance.jpg
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/5/51/PCDwhenigrowup.png

It's inconsistent too, as some songs do use single art. They can't say it's the record labels insisting on it, as they were more than happy to have their songs in DDR with just a simple banner to illustrate them. I know it's not the end of the world, but it means we have nothing to adapt into banners. (I don't imagine there'll be many more PS2 games featuring the same songs...)

If they don't change Bad Romance's artwork to the single cover I might kill someone.
