That's a very welcome addition, and yet at the same time with support for it, it's a no brainer.
FINALLY got the final songlist videos up. It's in two parts, one shows the licenses and a few KOs, the second shows the rest of the KOs along with some of the new menus and courses. Once again, beware the Kamikaze Princess!
woah, under the graphics section in the options menu, there was something about setting the backgrounds to pictures rather than movies?FINALLY got the final songlist videos up. It's in two parts, one shows the licenses and a few KOs, the second shows the rest of the KOs along with some of the new menus and courses. Once again, beware the Kamikaze Princess!
does this bring back old style DDR song backgrounds?
wow ! really ?

A chance to make some BG wallpaper for Stepmania ?

Turning movies off leaves the background pitch black. Turning on the picture to replace the BG video just uses the training mode picture as the backdrop.

I see something that carried over from HP2...
WARNING, Be With You requires Gimmicks to AAA! Granted, this is a 5 foot song, so this must be their way of adding some difficulty to the PFC of low foot rated songs. I think KnuxSonic8 ran into another one like this too, so I guess so far that's two songs that have AAA requirements. I'll report back on any other songs that have similar requirements.
edit: This is as complete a list as I can come up with for songs that require gimmicks to AAA:
Enjoy The Silence (uses Double Stomp)
South Side (uses Double Stomp)
Be With You (Still Miss You) (uses Double Stomp)
True Love Clubstars True Club Mix (uses Double Stomp)
Crazy Control (uses Triple Stomp)
This Night (uses Double Stomp)
Brilliant 2U (uses Double Stomp and Sudden Arrows)
You Are A Star (uses Diagonal Arrows)
The only truly difficult one of this bunch is gonna be You Are A Star since it alters the chart quite a bit. Other than that, the rest of them are fairly manageable given that the only gimmicks they seemed to use for those are the Stomps with only one song also using Sudden Arrows. Even more so when you consider that hands are gone from Free Play mode now. That in essence makes things 10x easier on it's own.
However, be warned that any nonstop that has ANY of these songs in it WILL require Gimmicks for the ENTIRE thing to count as a AAA, so in essence if you plan to PFC any nonstop get ready to have to do with it Gimmicks on if even one of these songs show up.

Yeah, for the most part. Everything is fairly current. I don't see any 80s/90s throwbacks.
Well, if you don't count the Disney classics, William Tell and Carmen hehehe! ;)

How come we couldn't get some of the better songs from DG?
Just for the record, those screens you guys see above are for the DDR School mode.

I don't wanna see any part of Disney Grooves ever again, even if they got good charts now. That game left a horrible taste in my mouth.
Oh, and I think I may have fixed what was going on with my computer and Youtube now, so the videos should be coming at any moment now.
Several new videos are now up, mostly license songs exclusive to HP3 along with a couple runs on roppongi Evolved and an attempt at Pluto the Basta.. I mean First.
Detroit Rock City is now up n00b.

It has been mentioned that they're nonstop megamixes.
And please read the posts before asking questions that were already answered. It's getting annoying.

thanks. thats a good chart. not the best chart it COULD have had, but a hell of a lot more than i was expecting out of a 7. the ending made me happy, both the 16th run AND the car crash still being in.

also, i'm kinda shocked that they actually used the destroyer version with the brand new re-record for the bonus disc with the new sonic boom album(yes, the re-record is different. eric singer > peter criss).

Uhh, can I ask? Whenever I insert the HP3 CD (a new one), it automatically initiates an update. Since I've heard that Wii Update 4.2 corrupts Wiis, I always cancel the update. But it seems like the Wii won't read the HP3 CD without it. I inserted my HP2 CD, and the Wii read it without the update coming up.
Is there anything wrong with my CD?

That is because a more updated software version is on HP3, requiring you to update.
HP2 is older, so it has an older software version and your Wii System Software is already updated to that version, hence you are not getting that message.
