For a time (as early as April), I set my desktop to show large icons so I can gawk at chromium's old icon as well as the custom icons for some of my games. Then I set it back to normal icons. I don't have any screenshots from those times.

I turned off rainmeter (and other tools known and unknown) since I was losing screen estate and emulating longhorn's appearance without changing critical system files is very troublesome (but I haven't given up).
