Magazine Information

A DDR-related story has gone out in the most recent edition of Arcadia Magazine.

It's an interview with Naoki-san in the BEAT RAIZING section of the magazine.
It seems to talk much about Naoki's collaboration song with SMiLE.dk "A Geisha's Dream".

The DDR Staff too was delighted when we first heard about the song. I remember my heart pounding rapidly when I heard about it. Please check out the magazine, and also play "A Geisha's Dream", which was unlocked the other day.

By the way, we just got through checking out the DDR X machine for AOU 2009. We collected many machines for use at AOU, and I also took a lot of pictures of the machine from various angles. I hope a lot of people come wearing sports shoes so they can fully enjoy the machine!

The machine will be over at the Konami booth, so if you're going to the event, please come around and play a few times!

Left & Right Part 2.
Yo, Maamu here.
Last time I was talking about the illustrations for Street Master Mode.

Some people may have already noticed, but some characters do not have a left-right reversal cut-in image.
If you haven't noticed, please go look!

Conditions for Cut-Ins

Hello, this is Maamu.
Last time I talked a little about the cut-in illustrations.

There are actually three different cut-ins you can get for each character.
I'll explain the conditions for getting each of them.

"Pattern A"
20 combo achievements.
(100 X n+50) combo, where N is an integer.
To put it simply, 20, 50, 150, 250, 350 etc.

"Pattern B"
(100 X n ) combo, where N is an integer.
To put it simply, 100, 200, 300, 400 etc.

I bet you'd like to know how to get Patten C as well, wouldn't you?

Julio Cellphone Wallpaper

AOU Festival
Hello, TAG here.
February 21st is coming. A bunch of BEMANI games are going to be on display at the AOU show.
All six BEMANI games will be there...my heart is pounding already!
There's another event being held on the 20th, but it is on a business day, so there will be no general admission. Even if you put your suit on and come, it will be no good, sorry!
Anyways, you can get some really nice things if you come and play, so please come enjoy yourself!
I'd recommend the tumbler, cause it's the one I want the most. Will you line up to play?
There will also be some early unlocks available on the machine, so you'd better come and take a look!

I wonder what will be on the X machine....
Ah, last month the CS version of DDR X was sold too, and you got to experience the edit mode...

Well, edit data from AOU will be added on the machine! I was pressing buttons on DDR X CS game!

"I'll show you how to make TRUE edit data!!!"

And AOU is a festival, so DDR X is a festival as well. But the theme is a secret!
"Official Step Data" is the steps usually played, but its exciting playing edit data.

When making edit data, please remember the following:

1. If you can't clear the edit data, it won't appear on the machine. Don't get worked up, just practice until you can pass it (smile).

2. If the edit data's groove radar is strange, you may think "Is this a bug?". Don't fret, that is the correct edit data!

3. The edit data may be extremely hard, so make sure you be careful of injuring your foot.

Oh, I almost forgot!

There will be a live recording of BEMANI RADIO open to the public where lots of BEMANI artists will appear. Even me! Don't miss it!

Hopefully this will mean that you have to pass your own edit before it is saved on the arcade. Nice way to minimize the bullshit charts if that's the case.
