Another picture is added to the official site and AFRO is in the background image now.

Xmix1 (Midnight Dawn) / dj jiggens is shown there.

I'm surprised that they are going to use the EXACT SAME Xmixes in this game, since each of them have SN2 songs mixed in.

Or maybe they are just using the same names, and the actual songs in each mix will be different.
It's possible that the songs could only be present for the Xmixes, and not actually available separately on the songwheel. DDR Universe 2 featured Balalaika (J&S Mix) and On The Jazz in this way.

True, but it is funny how all the songs in the Xmixes ARE in the US version...but then again it may be because the artists of them work in California and only could remix the songs that were available to them.

"jubeat knit one, purl two"
Besides, wouldn't it make more sense for Japan to see songs that were on the previous game than for us to have songs that were never on our songwheel?

Hell, the latter group of songs isn't even ready. Oops

Ahh jeez, you can tell that DDR has "grown up"

No longer do they have the catchy, cheesy pop songs from the earlier days. Now it's real authentic music that relies on heavy vocals. Tongue

X-edits? Doki Doki? Less Than Three? Tongue

Hehe....the "growing up" is mostly from the Ultramix/Universe influence.

"On ZiV I'm like Princess Diana"
*comes back from Vacation*

-Trickster, another J-pop license, yay! Sad that Tabibito didn't get its video, but oh well.

-Xmix1, I'm thinking this accounts for the "Why Not" that plays in the video. It's in one of the Xmixes, so perhaps they were just playing that cut of the song in the video.

Didn't you notice that STREET MASTER MODE episodes have weird icons next to them? IIRC, the US version only had CLEARED on them but no stars or icons next to them. I wonder what they're for...
Well,in SMM there's the Normal(?) and Advanced difficulties for each mission. In US you only had a CLEAR button, but it didn't say if you cleared just 1 or the 2 difficulties, and you had to load the records screen. I asume this is Japan's quick fix for it.
It doesn't surprise me;Dance Master Mode from EX2 also got fixed in STR!KE.

KONAMI would like to take this opportunity to thank all of its US beta testers for CS X. The actual CS X will be a more polished product because of your contributions.

Another picture was revealed on the site, and two more characters were brought out of the silhouette. Looks like one more update till they're all out.

Strangely enough, originally there were three "coming soon" slots, with the last of them being revealed with this picture, but now another "Coming Soon" slot was added.

Looks like the Xmixes are confirmed to be the same from CS X US. That's Poseidon up there.

Well,it wasn't fixed. They just made it more convenient. :3
In EX2,when you buy a Hint, you have to go to My Room to see it.
In STR!KE,you just press SELECT in the mission with the hint and you can read it there in the description box.

Random thought: In the US version, combos can be broken by getting an NG, and the full combo splash is displayed at the end of a song, even while freeze arrows are still going, so if you got an NG after the full combo splash, you could theoretically break the full combo after the splash comes up? (well if the Japanese version still breaks your combo if you get an NG of course) I wonder what the results screen would say...

I don't think the JP CS version will have that. I suspect the losing FC on N.G. arose out of Shock Arrows being treated as "O.K." or "N.G." and having Shock Arrows break your combo if they were hit.

"MAGGLE"
That's something that perplexes me. How could the combo increase by missing a set of arrows?

Thank you so much, Lord Toon!

When you step out of the shock arrows, the combo increases by 1.
