You might be on to something. They already announced Play Hard is getting cut from A3, so there's probably other licenses that will be getting the axe.

So now that we have a release date officially, does this mean it’s gonna be Gold Cab only for the time being? And do we have confirmation yet that Round 1 USA will be updating their cabs to World?

Round 1 more than likely will update. I think its a OTA update.

Correction, it is not a OTA update supposedly. It's a full on kit. According to some Japanese sources on Twitter.

I still hate this UI, but I think it's a net positive that DDR is a) finally launching a mix with a substantial amount of content and QOL, and b) is doing a major stylistic refresh. It at least symbolizes that they're not keeping the series in a sort of lazy maintenance mode.

I'm hoping that Funland London in Russell Square will upgrade. They missed out on A3, but I foresee that they might be stuck on A20 Plus or they might just jump straight to WORLD.

If Electrocoin seem to be jumping in on DDR WORLD it could be in years time, as they have already announced A20 plus years ago, so that's why they missed out A3.

Yet another reason for everyone to hate the Gold cab - the green theme looks terrible on it while on the white cab it works pretty well, lol.


Frankly, I see zero reason to be getting hopes up for this. Hasn't been a peep from the UK. If there was one, I'd get it, but right now this is just pipe dreaming.

Anyone know if any U.S. White/Gold cabs have been updated to World yet? I’m off in a few days and I might make a last minute R1 trip if they have it

It'll be live in about 2 or so hours.

I just checked the Danbury Fair location and it's still on A3, no indication for it to be restarted to apply an update.
