i know i thought there was a june 31st so i thought i would put my last entry in then but it turns out it's July 1st (yay! Canada day!). if we have to the end of the day i guess i'll put finishing touches on my simfiles (more like add the read me i forgot to include!). and maybe enter that challenge edit i did for votum stellarum.

It's been answered before. When you first upload a song, you have one day to fix/add stuff. Any adjustments after that time will dock 1 point.

I have no time anymore, I will upload the files without graphics. I'm not here to win, just to provide steps that are hopefully enjoyable. And perhaps, when I have more time to step things, maybe someone will be slightly eager to play them. =P

Right now I'm not at my house, and for my last entry (Solid State Squad) I need to finish the readme and tweak a bit Challenge.. so if I have enough time I could enter it. That's it, if the deadline it's at the end of this day.

Yeah, but I was gone, and the limit was still when I was gone, so can I make the one exception? But if not, do the points go for the one simfile or for all of them that the player has uploaded?

The points go for the one you upload. And I don't remember you saying anything about going that day. Anyway, in any contest, you really should only upload simfiles when you're 100% sure that you're happy with them, and you have nothing else to add.

I agree with this. It's not a good idea to upload an incomplete simfile. Even with official sims, I almost never update them. :/

Hold on, let's say I upload the BN and the standard difficulty at the same time for GraviTage, would that be 2 points off, or one point off?

Okay, um...I may need some help coming up with the rating of the simfiles...

I've come down to two systems.

-A magazine-esque rating system, give a blanket final rating and the give the reasons why with as least a bias as humanly possible

OR

-DDRExtreme's system retrofitted to work with a 10-point system and then modified to fit with the rules.

OR

I'm out of ideas.


I'm really sorry about this. I thought it wouldn't take much longer than a few days but I was wrong. x3
