You have very good taste in CS games, my friend. I actually really love the HOTTEST PARTY mixes, especially the first two. I really like some of the covers of the licensed songs, like Nothing But You and Call On Me (from the first game, not Drew Campbell's version). I kind of missed that when the third game came around and none of the licensed songs were covers anymore.
If we're talking just a red song, TRIP MACHINE Survivor, since that's what unlocked first in EXTREME CS US. If we're talking a flashing 10, then The legend of MAX.

From the very short time I played on the arcade (reminder that it was on an ITG machine, so I'm not sure if this counts), it was either:
Xmix5 (Overcrush) 10
or
MAX 300 12
(which, even then, I only did once, got a B-, then never beat it again)

This. If we're talking 15 and up, I think it was MAX 300, but the first one I was able to beat in arcades was Valkyrie dimension . As for lower difficulties... I think the first one I tried was PARANOiA Survivor on EXTREME 2.

Exactly! For me, I liked Walking on sunshine, Black or white, I ran, Tootsee roll, and a few more HP2 covers I'm forgetting at this moment. I especially liked the konami originals such as Somehow you found me, Closer to my heart, Racing with time, The lonely streets, Silver dream, and.... lol, well you can say I liked 80% of the KO's on HP2.

The reason I loved HP2 so much was because I played it so much that I just grew into the game, and it's like the default DDR game I go to when I don't know what to play, or whenever I have to choose a game when my family wants to play at parties, and they're most familiar with HP2's song list.

HP 2 was my first DDR in wii. I liked the songlist but I love more HP 3, it's much better than DDR X2 USA.
For 3 song was the reason that I bought it. After was HP 4, next HP 5.
I have difficult to find HP 1, however I could play it. For be the first HP was good but there a los of covers from previous DDR.
Next, I played DDR Furu Furu Party (i liked it a lot), I wanted to play NO CRIME, the unique song which I felt bad because it didn't appear in USA ver., and finally MUSIC FIT. MF was meh....

I guess if we're just counting 10s/15s and above, MAX300 was my first back when it was still somewhat fresh and could still be called one of the hardest charts in the game.

My first boss song played was super samurai in hottest party back when that was the only ddr game I had. also boss songs don't have to be just 10/15+ just songs that were labeled boss songs like candy*.

MAX 300 was literally the first song I had ever played.
Granted I was forced to play it.
And I did it on controller.
But it was still my first.

My first boss song was Fascination ~eternal love mix~ on SuperNOVA 2's Master Mode. I consider a boss song either level 15 or higher, or a song that game labels in red text. First actual 15+ song I passed? Hmmm.... can't remember. Probably MAX 300 or Pluto, or Outer Limits if that were actually to be rated a 15 on the new scale.

I don't know if this has ever been addressed or talked about, but looking through DDR Universe's data, I found alternate, unused banners for INFINITE PRAYER and GYRUSS -FULL TILT-. The latter's is noticeably different from the standard Universe and Universe 2 banner format, in that the artist is placed above the subtitle, and the original banner acts as a backdrop. INFINITE PRAYER is also seemingly spelled as "INFINITE PRA YER."
They are sitting in the online multiplayer data with the used banners for Summer Fantasy, SOMETHING WONDERFUL, and DIAMOND JEALOUSY, which makes me think these banners may have been used in the online multiplayer only for some reason? I don't know why else they would be there. All of these banners are also in Universe 2's data, but I'm pretty sure that's because Universe 2's online UI is just a reskinned version of the first game's and they didn't modify the xzp, save for the colors.

Maybe those five songs would have been part of a demo, or something? Those look like beta versions of the official banners to me. Do the other banners look any different, or is it just those two?

The other three banners look just fine to me, but you can decide for yourself.

Unrelated, but fun, Bongo!'s achievement icon is titled hidden_bong.

hey guys, which ddr game (other than winx club, Mario mix, and Disney mixes) do you guys think is the easiest overall?

Hottest Party 3 maybe? Because all the licenses are rated fairly low and there's no challenge difficulty.

I think hottest party 4 is easier thanks to easier jun boss song, some overrated charts, and it doesn't have pluto the first.

But it has NY Evolved.

My vote goes to one of the catch up games like Strike or Festival. Whichever one listed Sakura as a red boss song.
