[SM5.0.12] How to project BG visuals correctly on charts?

Hi, guys!

I am running 5.0.12 and struggling to project the background visuals correctly.

I am trying to have the video charts to play the video, and the non-video charts to show the static bg.

Instead, the bg of the video charts would play the video just fine, but the the non-video charts would turn pitch black and turn white at a certain tempo, which I don't want - I just want it to show the static bg.

The BG option is currently set to "Default" - which I thought it should work as is. But, it didn't and I'm just stumped on how to correct it...

What should I do?

I'm using PARANOiA Revolution & SM's Mecha chart as an example.

The setting is first set to "Default" just to let PARANOiA Revo play the BG video. When I go to the Mecha chart, I expect to let the chart display the static background. Instead, it was fading to a black BG and blinding me with white flashes at certain tempos.

I then set it to "Static Background" to turn that black bg off on Mecha. But, when I play PARANOiA Revo (did not want to find it back again), of course, it would only display the static BG rather than the BG video.

What I'm trying to accomplish is to let the video-charts play the video in the BG, and non-video charts to show the static BG - not the black bg with white flashes because they blind my eyes and screw up my gameplay.

The problem is now solved -

I went thru the Main Menu Options > Display Options > Appearance Options > Turned Mode to "Off".

Now the video charts are playing video in the bg and the non-video charts are showing the static bg.
