I don't know how either, I wanna know too. actually, I think it's something with 4.0 or whatever. I think you actually have to extract the course into courses without adding the courses in the game itself. Making any sense? anyways, it's just an idea.

same way you add songs, but not in the songs folder. the course folder is in the root SM folder, how can you miss it?

I dunno. Well, it's not that for me, it's just I guess my courses don't want to load. Another question, how do you create your own courses on 4.0?

n00b_saib0t: Actually, at least in the linux version, the root SM folder for 4.0 CVS doesn't have a Songs, Courses, or a Themes folder, it just has a Packages folder. But if you create the other 3 folders and put the right stuff in them, it works.
Kynayo: The simplest way to create your own courses is to use the "Create/Edit Courses" option on the main menu. My brother makes the course files in emacs though, since the .crs format isn't that complex. I don't make courses myself, so I don't have any practical experience with it.

oh. those folders all came in the windows version of 4.0 CVS, i didnt see anything about linux nor do i know anything about how it works so i just kinda assumed windows i guess. if the courses are indeed in the course folder and not loading, sort them like you do your songs. i think you have to, but i cant remember. i know mine are all sorted.
