Motion controls, are not, were not, and never will be the future of video games. May the Wii, PSMove and Kinect all burn in Hell.
...
... What?
...
Oh, for FUCK sake, Nintendo Switch.

Coincidence how this info comes out at about the same time as a bunch of new information for Dance Rush (Or whatever they're calling it nowadays). To be honest, motion-control peripherals, ever since the Playstation EyeToy, were my childhood. May they rest in peace.

Uh, no. Dance Central is the game that defines the Kinect's capabilities, since Just Dance's is about as half assed as the choreography it brings. Since Harmonix is being a shit company for not paying attention to the fans' needs for a new game, there's really no hope.Post #8 · Posted at 2017-10-25 06:10:46pm 7.6 years ago

Speaking of JD, it's quite funny how they announced this news ONE DAY right after Just Dance 2018 was released...And LOL, I enjoy Just Dance a lot >w<

I guess I was literally the only person who enjoyed Kinect Sports. It probably helps, though, that I was a kid at the time, and I never actually owned an Xbox so the experience was kinda special.

Motion controls are literally best enjoyed at a friend's house where you haven't paid for them.

How many of us even live in a house that can accommodate a Kinect? I still have a couch and a table in the way that I can't move.

Glad I didn't buy a Kinect. I only have Sonic Free Riders and The Price Is Right Decades (though I can play this without Kinect.) for Kinect.

Never bought a Kinect for my 360 or my Xbox One. From the sounds of it, I didn't miss much anyway

The face recognition login is pretty cool on Xbox One, though besides that, the only other thing I really used it for were dance games. So there.
technically Dance Central Spotlight was the first game I ever played on it because downloading a 40 GB Assassin's Creed game twice on a 5 mbps connection takes a long time (I at least have 100 mbps now).

Since it's dead (thank god), I might pick one up for use on my PC, most Kinect games sucked due to faulty motion controls, especially Steel Batallion: Heavy Armor.

I only used the Kinect for Dance Masters/Evolution .... Its worth it for that game honestly.
