My apologies in making an account just to ask this, but after 3 years of waiting to buy a Pop'n ASC and have it not work, I'm desperate to figure this out.
It lights up and works fine in controller options on windows, but when I open the "Config" file for Fantasia, it refuses to recognize the controller in any way. I even tried Joy2key and binded the controller buttons to my keyboard, and even that won't work either. I can't find any instructions on making this work.
I bought the controller from Gamo2. What do I do?

I hope you managed to find a solution since your post is a bit old, but in case you're still stuck, try opening the config.bat as administrator, and make sure you doubleclick on the action so that it allows you to bind it

its also worth noting there is one launcher/config program that works with controllers, and an alternative program that does not. the one that does not is not compatible with joytokey either, although it WILL work with xPadder. not sure how much more i should say than that because i dont want to cross any lines.
