Can someone please give me a link to a site where I can download DDR A on my computer? I've been searching for a long time to see if there actually is one...

DDRA is for arcade only and it isn't available for PC. However you can play your own songs using stepmania 5 and downloading DDRA theme.

DDR A is the current version of DDR that is being run on e-amuse, only playable through select arcades across the US, South Korea, and Japan (and soon enough the Philippines).

With that being said, there is no way you would be able to attain this game legally, unless you pay for both a white cab ($20k) along with the e-amuse service, even then Konami doesn't allow single-purchase orders since you would have to wait until you fill an order of about 50 from other companies for them to ship those machines overseas.

I have heard there are Chinese/Asian sites that have obtained the HDD rip of the game, but trust me, I would honestly not go through the hassle of doing all the work to try to get it. The game is pretty damn good and should be supported by those that have access to those machines.

You probably might say you live in an area where you don't have access to one. Well honestly all I can tell you is to download StepMania 5 and get the DDR A theme that you can find on the site, then download the DDR A simfile (Beta) pack and just play through that.

To be fair, if you managed to somehow find pirated software of DDR A, you could just rip the data files and use them for small projects. If we find data rips, is it legal to add them to the simfiles on this site?

But really, it may be hard to find one, but go find an arcade and play your DDR there. You'll support Konami (Even if they are, well, Konami), you'll support arcades, and you might meet some new people. Join us...

My method for obtaining DDR A is pretty straightforward, though it may require a bit of time and energy, but it's worth the effort. DDR cabs are pretty damn heavy right? After all you would need a large truck to carry that bad boy around. Let's not use a truck, eliminate the middle man, carry it yourself. So you wanna get as swole as possible in the least amount of time, which means you'll need to be prepared to lift every day while downing those protein shakes 3 times a day. Be sure to incorporate a vigorous amount of leg exercises into the mix, you'll need that lower body strength for when you sprint down the highway with a fucking arcade machine on your god-like shoulders. Once you've bulked up to the point that you can comfortably bench press the large truck we're not using to carry the DDR cabinet, head to the nearest Round 1 and let them know that cab is yours by tearing down the walls and lifting the whole machine, pads included, out of the arcade. It's smooth sailing from here, no officer in their right mind will stop you for fear of being tossed into the stratosphere. Drop it off at home, and Congratulations! Now you have an official DDR A cab.
