Hi all,
is there any way to prevent stepmania to play background videos on each song folder (.avi files) without having to edit the .sm related or delete the video file on every song folder? I have up to 4500 songs and I´m looking for an easier and faster way to do this.
Please note, I am not looking for having stepmania just hide the background video (which I´ve already done by the option "hide - backgrounds" on the 2nd mod screen in Simply Love theme) but I need stepmania to not play at all the video file in the song folder. The goal is to reduce lag issues as I´m using and old PC with poor graphic resources. Displaying the bg .png while playing is okay for me.
I´ve already looked for this option on the metrics and general settings and found nothing that worked.
Any clues?

I couldn't find any setting in-game.
What you could do is to go to the root "Songs" folder, and search ".avi" (no quotation marks), Ctrl+A/Command+A the files found, and delete as normal.
