Hello,

So last night I made a thread about my machine not powering. After messing with the machine a while I was able to get it powered on. I did discover my monitor is extremely weak though. I was told my monitor chassis would need to be rebuilt. Does anyone know someone or a arcade repair company that does repairs on a Toshiba D29CR55? Thanks in advance

You should replace the damaged CRT by 29" LCD.

Do you have any suggestions as to what LCD would work in my cabinet? I'm relatively new to these kinds of things so I don't know a whole lot about it right now

Google is your best friend for searching for that stuff and also you should upgrade the machine to either DDR supernova or atleast DDR X3

IIRC a 15 kHz signal with sync-on-green is the correct monitor to use. Since LCD monitors already have a fixed resolution, the LCD would have to be capable of handling the 15 kHz signal. Look at tri-sync monitors to start if you're 100% on buying a new monitor.

I don't own a machine, but rhythmarcade.com suggests checking to see if the wiring is loose between the monitor and the monitor board when the picture is not showing up on the monitor. I'm assuming you have already checked that?
