What's your difficulty range?

I'm finding myself curious about how good players are at whatever rhythm games they play, so I figured... why not start a thread! So basically, what this is about is just saying what rhythm games you play, and what's your difficulty range for each of those games.

DDR: I mostly play 9's and 10's, just because they're not as hard for me as they used to be. Ocassionaly though, I'll play 7's and 8's because they're fun, or because my stamina is getting low.

ITG: Right now I play 9's through 11's. I'm still not very good at most 11's, because my stamina is horrible. I have the speed, but I can't last long. And I have never played anything lower than a 9 since I started.

IIDX: Still working my way up the ladder here too. Right now I'm in the 8-9 range. Every once and a while I'll play 6's and 7's just because they're fun, or actually are somewhat difficult (like Ballad the Feather for example... only 6 I can't seem to pass on DD)

PIU: Kinda the same deal here as with ITG, my stamina sucks, so I can't really go beyond 12's through 14's at the moment. What was strange, though, was that like 3 weeks ago, I almost FC'd a 14 on a sight-read O_O. Since then I couldn't do it again.

I do play Guitar Hero also, but not much. I can do about a third of the songs on expert pretty well, I just need to learn to slide my fingers more, rather than lifting them. I want to try other rhythm games too, but there are none really around here. The only other AC rhythm game nearby is a DM 3rd mix, which is beat to hell, and last time I played I could only do like 4-5 stars.

So anyway, how are you guys? I'm just curious.

well it seems that i can complete easy 10's. i might complete most 9's. so probably i will be around about 9 (i think so) on ddr. 7's and the 8's are good for me to.

DDR : Most of the 10s, up to what would be considered 'flashing'.

ITG : 9s-10s, the odd 11.

IIDX : 8-10. It's weird that I can clear something like Xepher [h], then fail a 9...though I completely over-do Under the Sky...

GH : Nearly all of the Expert songs, just failing on about 2 or 3 of the final set.

DM: I started a few months ago. now on level 30s

IIDX: still on Normal & Hyper (7 is highest level)

GH: Normal & started Hard

You think that is bad? I passed V [h], a 10, and I can't pass Holic [h], a 7!

Good point. For example, DXY! [h]. Grr! But still, no 11s yet. Actually, I've only done about 3 10s...

hmm well ddr i can clear all up to 10's but i prefer to play everything 9 or below cause i just dont like to play boss songs and such with exception of like xepher, and sakura even though sakura should be a 9.

ITG: i can clear up to 12 i believe is my limit i havent really tried any of the real hard ITG songs i just prefer to play the fun stuff and songs i like that are 6 to 10 range.

IIDX: my limit as of now is 10's i can clear pretty much all normal songs, hyper 10 is my limit and i can clear another up to about 7 i dunno why i cant go up to 10 as i do with hyper but whatever.

Pop'n: my range ends at 32's after that im just mashing and hoping for the best

GF&DM: i dont play GF really cause no controller but DM i can clear up to 45 to 50 i prefer to play at about 3/4's that level though.

ITG: 12's like Delirium,or Vertex without mines :p
IIDX: 5-6's Still getting the hang of it.

Delirium is a 12 so maybe you are like 11,5 on itg :p

DDR Single : 9,7 (i can't pass some 10, so i'm rate like almost 10)
DDR Double : 7 i guess, i don't play much double. But i will start soon.

There is no ITG arcade in france, so no ITG level.
I haven't IIDX for the moment, for this will change soon \o/

Delirium's a 12...

DDR: I can pass all the regular stage SN1 charts singles and doubles except Boss Song Oni charts (not available), TLoM doubles and MAX-300-SMMMO doubles. And the Fascinations expert doubles, WTF. I single-handedly whored out CHAOS until it almost passed Love Shine in the top-20 nonstop courses, and passed it on singles and doubles like that. CHAOS is still number 14 on our soon-to-be-upgraded machine. I usually play 8's and 9's to practice getting more perfects without getting too tired.

I've only played for 1.5 years now, so I only have one expert AAA so far, on a really easy one. If you consider SN2 scoring, I have 3 AAA's.

And to call skill a "difficulty range" is a little nebulous, unless you are asking for the hardest songs one can pass. I am not very good at getting perfects (and thus get low scores), but I can pass hard stuff with several hundred greats.

ITG: I only get a handful of chances per year to play on ITG machines, I like them much more than DDR because of the increased difficulty. I can do all 10's, most 11's (by most, I mean not that misrated ! song, which is pure awesome but should be a 12), and I can do a few 12's.

Never played IIDX, it would be really nice if the (only) local arcade got one.

I only play ddr and i was thinking of playing other bemani games but i'm not sure.

DDR - 9 (I maybe can pass most 9's and i already completed Healing D Vision on expert so easy 10's will be alright for me)

DDR (single) - 10, usually... and I say usually because they don't make 10s like how they used to. Since Fascination MAxX, I started to not be able to pass 10s. That, and FELM. I also can't pass PHO, and I couldn't pass Relinquish on expert (difficult was ok).

(double) - I can pass most 8s, but I still need to get used to the pad layout. having 1P right and 2P up still kinda confuses me. Not only that, there's still weird crossovers I need to practice on.

All that and I've been playing since 2001 on a MAX2 machine. I kinda don't feel like I've made much progress...

IIDX - 8. I say this only because I can pass GOLD RUSH on Hyper, but there are still many 8s I can't pass. Trying to get up to 9s (hello CaptivAte ~jouka~ on Hyper!) Lots of 7s are doable for me.

DM - somewhere in the mid-60s.

DM - 70s-80s (I think. I play the drums IRL, so I'm translating what I see in the game to what I'm actually playing, and I reckon I can do up to about an 85.

GH - No idea.

DDR Dubs: I can do most 9's on AC's, and a few 10's on CS's. Still can't pass AFRONOVA though >_>

ITG Dubs: I haven't done much of this, but I have done Bend Your Mind a few times 8)

Well with DDR I sit comfortabley at the 9 level. I'm beginning to break through 10s, starting with Paranoia Survivor though (it used to be Sakura, grumble grumble). I don't actually like playing many 9s though, so most of the time I play 8s anyways.

IIDX is a little weird. How hard I can go really changes alot, but I can pass anything up to 8s. Nageki no Ki, Contract and Absolute Hyper are the only 8s I can do so far. I have loads of fun playing 6s though, so that's what I do most.

I've only played Pop'n a little, and I suck at it. I'm good at what I can do though ;)
