Cool
I already have all of the 10 footers and various other songs on my phone though. I can edit them anyway I please. Music Phones FTW ;D
My ringtone is Fascination ~eternal love mix~! I edited it so I would have the little preview for the song when you select it as the ringtone. It sounds better starting from there than at the beginning.
What a surprise right?

How do you send MP3's to your phone? Mine is a Verizon phone, if that matters. It *does* have a microSD slot, but I didn't see any spring mechanism to get it out so I didn't try putting one in yet.

You kinda need a phone that has MP3 capabilities on it. I don't know exactly how to get "ring tones" on to phones as I can hook up mine to the computer like an I-pod and download MP3s.
Bluetooth maybe?
Bluetooth maybe?

I've actually been wondering that myself. I already have a high-quality ringtone (or going to have...) for Star Gate Heaven. (i had to buy it...)
and i have low-quality (as in recorded) ringtones for "MY FAVORITE THINGS" for my friend (who ironically is also named Allison) and Nijiiro for my bf.
So yeah... i don't know how to get them on my phone. I have a new chocolate phone, but idk if i can do anything with it. Hopefully i can.

That works if your carrier doesn't block your Phone Features.

I can say I am pretty sure that for those who are using Verizon. You guys are OUT OF LUCK. Because they crippled the file transfer function on their phones.
I am using 月光 as my ringtone right now, and everyone of my buds look so impressed.
I don't know is it just me, but I can't play any of them.

I'm not very knowledgable with phones, so it might be good to just listen to what Junk said about it not being possible.
But all I imagine you would need is a bluetooth device, stick that into your computer and have them search for each other.

Trust me, I had it, and they basically ripped that whole Bluetooth OBEX out from the phone altogether. The computer and the cell phone will find each other, but file transfer will not be successful.
Therefore I switched cellular provider the minute I found out that. Unless you have hacked the phone and flash it with the original Motorola software, there is no way you could have done it for free.

i have verizon i have the v3m razr and i can transfer mp3 to my phone all day long along with any other things. i dunno how other phones work with verizon but i know with razr you have to go hack the data ot the seem lines on it and turn transfers back on and you can turn bluetooth and all etc etc back on it. its really not hard to do at all. http://www.motomodders.net/Default.aspx?tabid=55&forumid=79&postid=282296&view=topic
that link should tell you razr owners what to do that wants to transfer stuff

That's partly because it is offered by other providers too. Therefore the function is there, but Verizon just crippled it.
