Your opinions on the 3 new Boss songs in DDRSN

Well? What are they? For the record, the new songs are:

Fascination MAXX by 100-200-400
Healing-D-Vision by DE-STRAD
CHAOS by DE-SIRE retunes

My opinions on them:

FAXX: I love the version of the song from the Beta, with it's "WHAT" when the song restarts at 400 BPM in one part. The final version's good too. The steps are really cool, especially the ONI steps.

Healing-D-Vision: I love it. Love love love it. However, the song's in 3/4 time, yet the steps run on 1/4 time what? The Heavy steps are ok, but the ONI steps are where it really shines. Looks like PSMO's death run has be trumped.

CHAOS: Stop...Stopping...Every...Few...Beats! This song is probably my fave, however it's steps I'm not too fond of. Why? I already gave the reason.


So there you go, my opinions on them. (BTW, I haven't actually played them yet, but I've been really watching the YouTube videos of them. )

Fascination MAXX: Great song but ridiculous to actually pass (for me anyway).
Healing-D-Vision: EXCELLENT song; still can't pass it at EXTRA STAGE yet ... I get to the fast bit and fail.
CHAOS: Another excellent song; can't get this song for OMES yet.

Fascination Max-Very cool song and heavy and Oni steps are great

Healing-D-Vision-this songs alrigth heavy steps are good, but the ONI steps are the one i can't wait to play.

Choas-this song is just cool for me steps very challenging can't wait to play all these 3 new boss songs.

Fascination MAXX: The song itself is absolutely terrible. Seriously. It's like Naoki took a bunch of dramatic sounds from movies and made a song from them, with a few recordings of road-works thrown in here and there. Steps are meh and all the BPM changes are completely unneccesary. The piano section is fun as hell, though. Oni steps are very lazy.

Healing-D-Vision: Heavy is fun. I like gallops. This is loaded. The double BPM is pretty useless. It seems like they're trying to hard to rival ITG. Oni I haven't played but I can't imagine turning that fast that many times can be a particularly pleasant experience.

CHAOS: I've played this like, once, and didn't get too far. 40 or so steps. I still enjoyed it. Again, all the stopping is gimmicky as hell, but it works in this song and it's not annoying (for me at least). I've been whoring this out on stepmania so hopefully I'll get an arcade pass soon. <3 Haven't seen Oni at all.

I never really like boss songs, but in my opinion Chaos is just amazingly stupid. Healing-D-Vision's steps are also totally messed up. They should be triplets but they're 16ths...

Someone will eventually. It may have taken three years to AAA PSMO, but it was still AAA'd. Just give it time. Someone will do it, someday.
