beat4sprite
beat4sprite is a library to draw different things in the StepMania engine inspired by the classic DDR PSX backgrounds and sprite sheet animations.
I made some examples as well to be used with beat4sprite. These examples are the actual BGAnimations. They are available in my repositories.
beat4sprite began as a personal project in 2013 where I used to play with simple BGAnimations or RandomMovies on StepMania 3.9, mostly stuff from DDR or ITG. I was interested in the structure of the sprites and how the game read them.
I got inspired and I wanted to use the retro PSX animations so I tried making videos of them and that didn't blend that well with the song beat.
Then I considered video encoding, quality and file size not being the best so I moved to scripting and writing code (visually scripting) so I could draw my own animations.
DISCLAIMER:
These BGAnimations might be very bright and colorful, be aware.
It is recommended to tweak the brightness of the backgrounds to your own preference.

This is excellent, nice work!
The big problem that I can see is that the particle loader code, which seems to have been taken from default, expects the FancyUIBG ThemePreference to be available, presumably to hide the particles if it is off. Not all themes have this defined, though, and for themes that don't have it defined it throws an error.
Just remove lines 1 and 3 from the _particleLoader1.lua and _particleLoader2.lua files and it should be fine. I'm assuming people who use this pack want particles that should be there to be there.

I don't know Lua. If you can help me please do so. My friend did the Lua Scripting.

Some themes don't reading the particles & show the black image in the game :/

It's a pretty trivial change, just removing a couple lines, but I did it anyway.
I fixed some other bugs related to incorrect file names as well.

Again, the particles don't show up in the theme because the animation code assumed certain variables existed that don't. My version fixes that. It also doesn't need Fancy UI to be on.

no, pero ahora arreglé los BGA y puse los que usó FlameyBoy que les sacó el comando que obligaba a activar el Fancy UI
y te recomiendo que los vayas probando,

I have a request...;
This is a movie I want to include in my next release. I got the overlay gears down, but that blue-red background you see, I am having problems with. So, I'd like a clear image of the background. It appears in BRILLIANT 2U;
And ROCK BEAT from DDR 3rd MIX;

Encontré un bug o algo que tiene que ver con la incompatibilidad del script y los efectos del Stepmania (Opciones de BG en el Modo Editar) digamos que quiero usar efectos como "Force Effect" es imposible usar algunos. Si esto se arreglara podría hacer un DDR 5th Mix completo con fondos y todo...

I have found a an incompability with the scripts. You can't play them with any "Force Effect" in the Edit Mode of Stepmania. If this gets fix, I will make the BGs scripts for the 5th Mix.

No. Estoy haciendo los del Konamix, los del 3rd solo hice ese por que tenia el sstate. Ya casi acabo los del Konamix.

Todo depende del emulador creo. Y クリスチャン☆49 allí seleccionas con el cuadro rojo y seleccionas con click izquierdo la esquina superior izquierda de un sprite o BG y luego click derecho a la esquina inferior derecha (tienes que ser muy preciso para que no te salgan espacios que no son parte de la imagen) luego vas al cuadro verde y vas debajo del End of the Century BG (el de colores raros) ahí hay lineas de color palettes (recuerda tener el cuadrito de colores de la barra seleccionado - el segundo) y allí seleccionas con click izquierdo alguna de las lineas y pruebas hasta que te de una imagen de color correcto en la pantalla abajo de la original. Si ya la tienes entonces la puedes guardar con la tecla F2 pero se guardara en un formato desconocido que yo en mi caso abrí con Paint.
