I have a problem when downloading .59

For some reason I can't download it, even though it's a zip.file. The thing that happens is that the download goes REALLY fast, and so the unzipping. But when I look at my desk, it's never there!! Can someone explain and fix this?

Only explanation I can think of is if you are using a Mac computer as it doesn't like filenames that begin with a period.

It's working for me here, using XP.

I think that also happens with Vista. I don't know why, or how I was able to fix it though...

save file as (dot)59 instead of .59

but how? you see, when I select it, it downloads instantly. So how can I do that?

Right click and click Save As?

that didn't seem to work since when I right clicked, i could only choose "save link as". and then it appeared as a .php-file

Rename that PHP file to "something.zip".

I'm sorry to say this, but the rename thing didn't help either………

maybe .59 should be renamed "Tengoku", or "(dot)59" at the site then?

If you are using a Mac, disregard this post, because I know nothing about Mac's.

If you are on some version of Windows, what browser are you using? In Internet Explorer, you can choose where you want to download it, and with FireFox it automatically downloads to C:/Documents and Settings/(insert computer profile here)/Desktop/. Also, your antivirus software could be a little problem. Some antivirus programs will delete files without any notice. I was part of Acmlm's ROM hacking community for several years, and a few people have had their video game hacks deleted by antivirus programs, without notice. Try disabling it and see if that helps.

yaaaay, I fixed it! How? I downloaded .59 in a PC and then did a transfer with an USB-drive. Of course I renamed the whole thing.
