Five DDR Songs

I kind of wanted to make this a series, where I look at a theme and take five of my personal favourite songs that fit the theme and compile the charts into one. So, here, it's songs that you don't hear a lot, whether they're underplayed or rare in-game because they weren't in many DDR mixes.

Any ideas for future themes?

i don't think butterfly upswing mix should be on there

both upswing mix + the original song are recognizable outside of DDR

Hell, I'd say that is THE song that made DDR popular initially.

You also have to look at the context of how exclusive the song was. There are errors with two of them as Butterfly (Upswing Mix) appeared on a lot of Japanese DDR games and appeared on Extreme 2 which is the best CS American game that we got. Also Vol. 4 was in a few more mixes for it not to be considered underrated or rare in-game as it has appeared in 3rd Mix / 3rd Mix Plus / 3rd Mix Ver. KOREA 1 & 2 / 4th Mix / 4th Mix PLUS / Ultramix 2 / Unleashed 2.

I agree with AnonyWolf.

Honestly, I'd like to see a "best 6-feet and under on heavy" category (or 9 and under for new scale equivalent).

Maybe best songs that did not debut on a mainstream version? i.e. the main timeline of games, 1st mix, 2nd mix, 3rd mix, 3rd mix plus, etc. So club ver, solo, ultramix, universe, hottest party... basically anything that wasn't a "big release" in the arcades. I hope this made sense.

Well, not a lot of people hear Upswing Mix often, to be honest. I was actually thinking of Have You Never Been Mellow NM Mix, which I feel would've actually been a better choice if I liked the song more.

Also, is Max 300 the equivalent of Darude - Sandstorm in the DDR community, or is there something I'm missing?
