I have a nexus 7 2013 edition and a while back, their was a update. So I did and when you turn on the game, it will stop on patch 4 out of 16.... anyone know how to get around it????

Restarting the app might do the trick; It won't reset the whole downloading process since the first 4 files are already downloaded in your tablet, at least, that's what happens in my case.

well the problem is solved, I had to delete the data and restart the app

Not sure, which I knew why that works....
