BeatTube (iOS)

Basically this is like beat gather, except it loads videos from Youtube instead of songs from your library, and it costs energy points, which recharge at about 6 minutes each, to play songs.

The game also has a level-up system which prevents you from playing or making higher difficulty charts until you reach the level that matches the difficulty. Although, Autoplay (the wide blue button on selection) allows you to preview any chart in the game without spending energy.

I think there's also a region-lock on some videos too, but I haven't experienced this myself yet.

It's pretty good, I've made a lot of charts for it so far (imo). I'm Lv.13. My username on there is "chewi".

Is there at least a grid system, or some way to tell the BPM of a song? I couldn't make even one proper chart on beat gather.

I haven't made a chart yet, but after you select a song its BPM is among the information shown so there must be some way to set it.

It's fun, I really like it.

My username on the game is piekun. I don't think it tells you when people follow you, but if you let me know that you've followed me, I'll follow you back. I've made some files (There's a few joke ones in there, so be wary of those ).

Currently Level 18, game is surprisingly fun.

Might make some charts from the WORLD ORDER videos, if I can navigate the menu's in Japanese >__>

I think he's referring to the URL name, which romanizes the title as "BeaatTube -dong huade yinge-!

Go to the options tab on the farthest right. Tap the menu button that has a red pencil and paper on it, and search for a Youtube video. After it's loaded you can press the wide blue button to go to edit mode.


There is a button to set guidelines based off the BPM entered.

How do you make the green 'Follow" notes in the Edit mode? Along with the 'Hit' Hold notes.

When you tap a note it brings up a menu of different notes that you can change it to. But there's one more step involved in making follow notes; you have to double tap to the next point you want it to go to set it.

Does anyone know a chart that is level 100+?
