See what people have you rated at

Currently, there is an option to see what you have people rated at... but I feel it would also be a good idea to create an area where you can see how people have rated you. For example, I want to see how I can get my rating higher, so I want to get a good picture of how useful people think I am.

from what I see, isn't rating relatively useless/superficial anyway? I haven't looked much into ratings recently anyway.

but, I think it would be OK to add this if you saw anonymous ratings (you have one +5 rating, one -3, etc.) but if there are usernames tied to it then it could potentially lead to harassment if someone's not mature enough to handle a negative rating.

At the very least it shows your reputation in the community. Which I personally value.

I kinda sorta second this notion. It would be nice to see what people have given you. Especially if you feel as though someone has given you an unfair rating and you wish to have it purged. Or something.

To be honest, keeping it anonymous gives you a better idea of what the community thinks of you in general rather than what just one person thinks. If you've had a positive rating for a reasonably long amount of time, you're probably doing just fine. People probably think you're useful.

or we just get rid of the current rating system altogether and create another method to see how contributory you are in the community.

At least, that's just my idea.

But honestly, if you're so worried about how people rate you, then you should probably do something to fix that paranoia, like presenting yourself better.

As moderator, I can see what ratings you got, Pinkie, but to keep this place as neutral as possible, I cannot allow myself to give out that information. So, being admin and moderator is the only way you can see all ratings, if you're curious to know.
