So I've plugged in my ddr pad to my pc. It works as inout and was quickly recognized by SM5. However for some reason the left arrow triggers the right and bottom as well. there's a few other glitches too. I'm not sure what it is. Any ideas as to if it may be a driver issue or something ?
Btw I manually configured the controls to the pad in game too.

You would maybe try opening the plastic thingy to reconfigure the wires. Or, just get a Omega GX or ITGX which i would recommend for any console. one's for mostly like anything that has a ddr but not a game boy. When you plug in the Omega Dance Pad, The drivers should install... but This is mostly about 360. let me get back to topic.
If I were you, I would just re configure and test it again in test input and would also put the dance pad code. unless you want to do autohotkey. But i don't think the dance pad code won't work. You would have to press and hold Select + Start + Up (Back + Start + Up if i got it wrong) for 3-5 seconds.
EDIT: By Reconfigure, I meant in the pad.
