So I tried to change some of the harder songs display bpm from what was there to random in stepmania 3.9
So I have this:
#DISPLAYBPM:*;
It worked for most, but there were a few in which the display bpm is not changing. What do I do?

Did you try restarting StepMania?
It's usually obligatory, when you're tweaking a simfile's .sm file, to restart the program itself for it to load the files properly.

I tweaked everything while stepmania was closed. I reopened it and all but a few worked. But yes I did try closing stepmania.

"It's a rectangular cuboid!" |
Have you tried reloading songs and courses? Should be in the options menu.

Try deleting the Cache folder in your StepMania program folder.

I don't have one, or I deleted it a long time ago.
I found the problem. DDReam Studio was saving my .sm files in there when I didn't want it to, so I went in and cleared that out. Fixed the problem.
