Didn't wanna bother everyone here, but I've looked everywhere for an answer, no luck.
I've been trying to get SN2 scoring, but it's just not working. After I've changed it, it just goes back to Extreme scoring. >.>

I cannot remember exactly how to change but try something, goto your Stepmania 5 folder, then into the Data folder, and then UserPrefs folder... there should be a folder named "_fallback"... inside that folder try to find a file called "UserPrefScoringMode.cfg" and open it and write Supernova 2 or Supernova... then save it and close and try if the scoring system has changed to that one...

Thanks! Though the path & file name are correct, it still says it isn't. Any suggestions there? Or is it just my Vista.

I did, saving the file didn't work I got this terrible Windows Vista Error.
"Can't create the file.
Make sure that the path and file name correct."
'Twas a bit more longer talking about the location of where the file was. Just summed it up there.

No i got nothing, I have edited like 10 files and I still having the same Scoring Mode, like 1000 or 2930 for example... I always use Percentage Score, so I use like ITG... the thing that I fixed last time is that on ITG System if you miss an arrow, your score decreases... that you can do for get a original ITG Scoring...
And the other thing is the unique Theme that has a Scoring system is the DDR X2 Arcade... but I cannot find how to move that to another theme

Thanks anyways for trying. Anyone else would like to try to help?
I found out how to save it, didn't work. I just had to save it to my desktop and replace my existing file.

Find the file UserPrefScoringMode.cfg in your UserPrefs/_fallback folder,
You need to make sure that you are able to read/write to it.
Right-click on the file, click Properties, then on the Security tab, click your User Name. Then click Edit.
Click your User Name again, and make sure that all the boxes under Allow are ticked, then OK until you are back to the folder.
Then by opening the file in Notepad, you can change the option to DDR SuperNOVA 2, then you should be able to save it.
This should then make SuperNOVA 2 scoring default.
I've had the same problem before, so I hope this helps

I just did it for the Program folder for SM.
Edit: Make sure you do it for just the files you need, rather than the entire folder

C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Roaming\StepMania 5\Data\UserPrefs\_fallback
Try looking for that folder, some people have said that the files are in there.
