So I've been looking at the pads insides to make them better and looked around online for mods to doing so, but keep arriving to dead ends.
Here's two different arrows I took pictures from. All of the rest are exactly the same as these two.

I ran into that whole "cardboard mod" and there were really no answers provided on how to do so. Also can't reach the guy who said he knew how in the original thread asking about it.
I have little experience on messing with DDR pads so step by step procedures would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. This is for the Moreno Valley Round 1 location and our mechanics don't know what they're doing when it comes to adjusting pads.

you can retrofit them with older sensors, I believe some of the guys on Bemanistyle were attempting to do so a while ago.
It involved taking off the brackets, making some sort of L bracket to stick on the sensor and then tacknig the sensor down somehow. I can't remember how it all ended up since I didn't follow it too closely past them taking apart the original sensors and modding them.
(they took them out, split them open, took out the copper strips and put in better quality stuff then taped it all back together)

I see. Super thanks for the advice. I'll see if our technicians are willing to give it a shot (which I highly doubt). I might have to do a home project x]
