I have a Cobalt Flux metal pad, my friend lent it to me but it's missing the control box. It has a 15 pin VGA in. Is there any possible way I can unsolder a PS2 pad and just stick the wires into the holes of it or anything like that? I really don't want to buy the control box because it's not even my pad but I'd love to use it... I have checked the modding thread, but I never seen one post that showed how to solder the 15 pin adapter which seems to be the most important thing to have.

"Oh god what I have dooooone?!" |
i don't have a pinout for the cobalt flux handy, but if you can determine what it is then you can solder to whatever you like.
Just get a volt meter and two bits of wire or paperclips or whatever, and stick the paper clips in two of the holes. step on every panel, see if you get a circuit. if not, move one of the wires, repeat.
Do so until you've figured out what each arrow goes to what pin.
then solder to something accordingly.
