Hello!
I've got 2 cobalt flux's, one with a control box that outputs to USB, PS2, Xbox and GC, I'm just wondering if this works fine on the Wii DDR games? I've heard that the corner buttons trigger the arrows and I really hope that's not the case.. if so are there Dance Play settings in any of those games?
Also I bought a Joybox PS2-Wii adapter since my other flux only has a PS2 output; anyone have any idea how well these work, if at all? Probably should've asked you lot first haha.
Thanks, and sorry if this has been brought up before, I went through the ENTIRE 200+ thread on DanceDanceRevolution II and found nothing haha!

To my knowledge, dance play settings are not on the Wii DDR games. I assume they expect you to be playing with the mats bundled with them.
I used to have a Gamestop universal soft pad, but I hated playing with it on the Wii games because the corner buttons would trigger the arrows and there was no way to turn off dance play.

hmmm, i wonder if the homebrew channel would let you configure it to play from usb... (it lets you reconfigure stuff to play on a gamecube controller) :3 not sure though.

That would be mighty handy!
2 of the games should arrive tomorrow morning so I GUESS I don't have to wait long to find out but yeah, not too confident! Is the Homebrew Channel difficult to install? It doesn't look it, but at the same time the guides I've seen make it look TOO easy haha

ionno, Alan installed mine, i think you have to have a gamesave of one of the games listed on an SD card, load the gamesave and go to a certain part in the game, then it installs or something.

I don't have a Cobalt, but I play DDR II with one of those universal hard ones. The corner buttons trigger little messages, but, at least for that game, they don't pose a big problem. I also use an adapter for one of the other mats (Amazon deems it a Hyperkin PS2-> GC adapter). It lags compared to the universal mat, but playing it on its own is fine when you set the uh... offset.
I guess you just have to try it to see.

Hey Aaron, any chance you know the name of the app that lets you remap keys? Yeah adding the Homebrew channel WAS as easy as it sounded aha took like 5 minutes!
EDIT: Yeah, corner buttons trigger arrows, huff!
