Understand that Antoine thinks of himself as a "Best Of" compiler. That's essentially what his OSSM mixes are. It's inevitable that he'll take stuff from a bunch of people without permission. Personally, I recommend just forgetting that he exists and release your files for normal users to enjoy. In the long run, he isn't very popular with his OSSM mixes, and it isn't like he claims credit for the files anymore.

Well, that is true, but it's one thing to use a file and then give credit then to ask beforehand. At least, that's the way I see it.

I know that, and I understand Chewi taking umbrage at that, but the point is...Antoine isn't getting much positive attention from those mixes. In other words, even if someone tried it, they'd just try to find the step artists themselves if they actually liked stuff and just ditch Antoine. He's a bad middleman, but just a middleman nonetheless. He marches to the beat of his own drum with his policy, and I don't think anyone is actually going to sway him otherwise, so just forget unless him something changes.

Chewi, don't you think you're being a little too overdramatic?

I mean, I know you work hard on your simfiles, but I think you might be working a little too hard, almost to the point where making simfiles is a job, not doing something for fun.
