See title.
What I have so far:
PS2 games:
MAXIMIZER (Extreme CS)
MAX 300 SMMM (SN1 CS. Was this NA only?)
Trim (SN1 JP CS)
Pluto the First (X2 CS)
DEGRS (X2 CS)
Wii games:
Super Samurai (HP1)
Pluto the First (HP1 JP, HP3)
888, deltaMAX, all 7 RDA songs (DDR II)
Xbox and Xbox 360 games:
I have no info at all. Need help here.
Please take care to note:
- Any differences between JP and NA CS releases (such as Pluto the First on HP1 JP only)
- Any songs that may only sometimes be red, such as On the Break, etc. (Not sure if any "sometimes red" songs would be on the list, though.)
- Any songs that appear on multiple consoles, such as MAX 300 SMMM.
Thanks.

Pluto the First and DEGRS are not red in X2 CS either, though they are at the end of the song list like other boss songs, so I'm not sure if they count.

Xbox 360 games have no red songs at all.
Don't quote me on this, but I think Max 300 (Super Max Me Mix) was red in Ultramix 2 and it definitely was in DDR STR!KE. And speaking of that song, yes, its SN1 appearance is NA only.
Trip Machine Survivor was also red in Extreme NA, and Maximizer was only red in the American version; it wasn't in the Japanese version.
Were the Paranoia Survivor duo red on Extreme AC? I can't remember offhand.

Trip Machine Survivor, Paranoia Survivor, and PSM were all red on both CS and AC.
Thanks for the Xbox 360 comment, I did not know that. Any info for original Xbox (the Ultramix series?) I can't find any Youtube videos showing the complete songlist at all (only partial songlists, if that).
PtF and DEGRS are both red in X2 CS only during ES/EES, just like X1. See here:
Note: This is the ONLY video I can find that displays Extra Stage/EES on X2 CS. Amazing how there aren't any others.

Ultramix 2-4:
No songs were coloured red.

I have DDR SN1 CS (the EU version) and MAX 300 SMMM is also an ES song, so it's not just NA

I also think that UM2 had Max300 SMMM labeled red, along with MaxX Unlimited. From what I recall, Ultramix 1 had their 10 footers labeled in red(Max 300 and Outer Limits), although NONE of the Ultramixes (along with Universe 1 and 2) have an ES system. 3 and 4 didn't label boss songs in red but it were grouped together in the songlist if I remember right.

OUTER LIMITS in FESTIVAL
G2 in STRIKE.
Of course, neither one of those made it to an AC game.
What about CRAZY LOVE in DDR 2010?

Aw crap, I can't believe I forgot about that. Yes, Crazy Love is red on all DDR 2010 versions, but not AC.
(Well, the text itself technically isn't red on PS3/Xbox360, but the game displays flashy pink/red graphics around the little rectangle that contains the text for Max 300, Crazy Love, and NY Evolved, and it does not do this for any other song, so it counts.)

NONE of the UNIVERSE games have boss songs (in the strictest sense, as in they're red and are used for extra stages). There ARE 10-footers, but none are considered boss songs.

Yep, that's exactly why I made this thread, because nowhere could I find a list of purely red songs in all DDR games.I classify "boss" songs into these categories:
- True Boss Songs: Red and rated at least a 10/15. Does not have to be ES/EES exclusive (Paranoia Survivor Max, for example)
- Pseudo Boss Songs: Red, but rated below a 10/15 (Candy*, Kakumei, Maximizer, On the Break, Saber Wing, etc.)
- Boss-Level Songs: Rated at least a 10/15, but never red. (bag (old scale), Xepher, Zeta, Vanessa, etc. To be extreme, Turkey in the Straw from DDR Disney Grooves for the Wii is technically a boss-level song even though virtually all foot ratings were grossly inflated in that game.)
And to clarify:
- "Red" means red on any game at all, at any time (ex. On the Break is only red on Final Stage). Sometimes songs change categories because of this (888 and deltaMAX weren't boss songs until DDR II, and technically Valkyrie dimension was only a boss-level song until DDR II, because it was never red on DDR X2.)
So basically I'm looking for all true boss songs and all psuedo boss songs in CS games, mainly the Ultramix series.

Xenon in DS Fusion.
Would you count it? It's more of pink than red though.

*runs away*
EDIT: And there's also Paranoia -Respect-. This kinda reminds me of a topic that I made a few months ago involving a list of boss songs. Apparently I got replies that songs like Furuhata's theme are considered as such just because it's so friggin hard.

even though that this might not count, but I've always thought that 250bpm was a boss song. (I really need to find my original Xbox hook-ups so I can be sure about this)

I'm going out on a limb with this, though knowing full well I'm probably going be wrong about it, I'm going to say NO. Wasn't Across the Nightmare a boss song from a previous mix?

Across the nightmare was never a boss song in DDR. It might've been one in drummania, though.

That's my point. Speed doesn't equal boss status.
Across the Nightmare debuted in EXTREME... assuming we're just talking about DDR bosses and not ported bosses.
