Hello Men and Women of ZIv, I have been on this site for a while and I have ran into a few songs that have the same name as another song I was looking for, and the one I downloaded was something completely different. This idea was used on FFR, but unfortunately their SimFile database was closed. My idea was to implement the ability into the site so you can listen to the music in the SimFile without having to download it first.

With most of the newer sims, you can open the mp3 file seperately yourself, so effectively we already have this sort of thing.

That is true, but my idea was more of a plugin than a direct download, something like QuickTime, Flash Player, or Windows Media Player.

I think it would be a good feature to have. I don't think it would be fairly complicated to add either since the MP3 and other files are uploaded separately.
Though in the past I have used QuickTime to preview songs as it opens the player in the browser.

*major facepalm* This is already implemented....
anytime you go to a simfile and you see MP3 just double click on it and it will open up and play, though you might have to hit the back button after its done playing. if you don't want to hit the back button then right click and open in new tab.
