I was googling looking for a TX1000 pad when it came up with this one. It looks exactly the same and the description for it is word for word from another website that actually labels their pad as a TX1000. Can anyone confirm that?

And also.. does anyone know if they're actually decent pads? I have a Cobalt Flux which is absolutely amazing but obviously they're out of business and being in the UK well, I doubt I'm ever going to find a seller so yeah, disappointing aha.

Ah and one thing I'm worried about, y'see I want to have two good metal pads so I can practice doubles at home, and I'm worried that having one Flux and one of these pads might be a bit disorientating due to the different feels; does anyone else think that'll be be a problem? If not I'll just go for one of these pads rather than the double pack!

I have one of those mats. After two years of torturing it, I'm pretty sure it's shot.

Overall, those mats are pretty good. You should expect a lot of AAA's from using them! Wink

"Give me a steady beat."
That "regular price" is such a crock. Those pads are also not going to perform nearly as well as your Cobalt Flux.

Ahh bummer! Well, it boils down to the age old debatable question, are there any metal pads currently being manufactured that anybody could recommend? xD

EDIT: Oh, didn't see RGM's comment! Wow, hugely contrasting opinions there haha! Is it the mat that kon uses in his videos? Cos that's what I was looking for originally aha!

The only ones that were worth recommending are no longer being manufactured.

And I didn't say the pad was bad, you're just going to notice a difference putting it next to a Cobalt Flux. ...Also I don't see how it's worth the price of one either.

Ah I see, thanks for confirming RGTM! That definitely reassures me a bit!

And oh I see Aeron, I just misunderstood aha. It's a shame the dj dao pad never went ahead.. I'll have to root around online for a better price if I go for this I guess, don't wanna be ripped off aha! Thanks guys Smile
