[SM5] STEPMAN ADVENTURE 2: BATTLE

yep. too lazy to write original crap here, so I'm just gonna cut and paste from the stepmania.com thread (LOL stepmania.com)

So what is this anyway? Well it's a Sonic the Hedgehog inspired theme for StepMania 5, being developed by yours truely. The funnier thing? I have little to no experience with LUA, and it still seems to be coming along pretty well.

There's not really much I can say feature wise (I mean, it is StepMania after all.) but you will be able to customize it quite extensively, ie. pick character themes (like in the original SA2) and select which certain songs play in which sections of the theme. Upon release, the theme will include various notable tracks from the Sonic series in the past 20 years. (Although most of those are probably from Sonic Rush. I like Hideki Naganuma, okay? What can I say.)

Let me just point out that while yes, elements of this theme are borrowed from Sonic Adventure 2, there will be hints of other titles in there too, because I said so.

I'll look at having this out some time in the new year, and updates will shortly follow this post when I can be bothered to make them. (LAST UPDATED: 11/12/2011 - I'm British, deal with the date system.)

IMHO, For the high scores screen, you should use a screenshot from one of the ps2 spyro games with the two characters or even the ps1 games with just spyro and then add speech bubbles; it would look much nicer.

Besides, I don't know if you noticed, but Sonic the Hedgehog and Spyro are two COMPLETELY different games, just like StepMania 5 and StepMania 3.9 are COMPLETELY different versions.
