Post things that can easily give you nightmares, without them being intended to do so.
An example for me is Bomberman Hero game over screen. If you die too much, A solemn voice just says "The game's over" and shows a picture of Bomberman lying down. There was also a static noise before complete and utter silence. It sounds weird, but it gave me nightmares when I was younger.

I would also say the end of Earthbound, but that's actually very intentional, so not.
A third example is Thomas the Tank Engine. There was a part in one episode where Thomas derails and I would always turn around and not watch it because it terrified me and gave me nightmares. It just seemed so tragic to me.
So... yeah. Your turn, I guess.

I'm currently watching Three Stooges and earlier this morning, there was an episode in which they played as doctors about to perform surgery. A nurse asks what they think they should do for the patient and the other two give typical goofy answers, but then Larry chimes in with "Let's pluck him and see if he's ripe!" while stroking a knife with a surprisingly creepy look on his face.
