SO...What would you like to see in the future of DDR (CS or AC release)?

I'd personally like to see them revert back to the other songwheel with banners instead of cd jackets.

I would as well. I liked that more. I also wish we could have the older announcers, or at least one that doesn't sound like a dumbass.

For CS releases:

-Better licenses like the MAX2 era, not even particularly Dancemania licenses, like Days Go By, A Little Bit Of Esctasy, Busy Child.
I've been waiting so long to see Underworld or Daft Punk on DDR. Or, if they still insist on licensing pop artists, they can license remixes such as Waking Up In Vegas (Manhattan Clique Bellagio Remix) or Shut Up & Drive (Wideboy's Remix).

-I want to see Konami continue on the right track that they are on with DDR II. Assuming there's a DDR III next year, I'd like to see it have all of the DDR X3 content, and keep challenge mode and the 1-20 scale.


For new AC releases:

-New PARANOiAs and TRIP MACHINEs

-No more remaking classic songs like DYNAMITE RAVE or Keep On Movin'

-More songs from the Hottest Party/Ultramix/Universe series like Tesla Coil, PUT YOUR FAITH IN ME (Steve Porter Mix), Healing Vision (Gridlok Mix), Double Tornard, Midnight Blaze (SySF Mix), etc...

Rinon's master and what her mission is and her taking on the Dark Rinon. With Victory Concent. And Gus's weapon looking thing that we're not sure what it is.
Would like to see Akira coming back. He's totally already there, just being a ninja in the background... now just let us pick him.
Moar Zero is always lovely. Preferably being his jerkface pretty closet-Alice-fanboy self and not wtf.

And in some fantasy world, 4th mix Devil Zukin would come back. Maybe to team up with Rinon, I don't know. The odds of the remaining dancers being of any help taking on an army of clonebots aren't high. xP

-For U.S. licenses, things that are a little more dance/pop. Lady Gaga, Ke$ha, and Katy Perry are some good artists to look at here. Freemasons, Goldfrapp, and anything with Amanda Wilson is a plus.

-Most of X2 AC's charts are a good model to look at for DDR charts. Technical charts are very good when done right. Step placement and rhythm are the two most important factors in a stepchart.

-Try out one or two new artists per mix. Some will work (most of the hh.com people) and some won't (Bill Hamel, DKC Crew), so keep the ones that work and drop the ones that don't. It really helps to add in some variety to the songlists.

Benny Benassi would be nice as well.

Any chart rated 17+ that has absolutely no BPM based gimmicks. (such as I'm so Happy and on the bounce, except that they're 16s)
Any chart rated 19+ that doesn't rely on BS to bring up the difficulty (Possession D- would fit this)

Konami Originals: More of kors k and TAG (!!!)

Crossovers: Reflec Beat and more pop'n music crossovers (like in DDR Winx Club)

Licenses: More Japanese licenses (SN2 CS-US had ANGELUS)

BOSS SONGS: As I posted before in my FB wall, jun needs to make another great boss song like PARANOiA (HADES)

But really, I'd say before we move onto 20s, we oughta really stabalize the 19s, since there's only three at the moment. One for singles, and two for doubles. But I'd say also bring some KOs that afaik, had zero licensing issues, like Matsuri Japan. Maybe a few more crossovers from CS as well, like 777, Concerto in Blue, etc.

A working cab for the europe ?
Fixing upgrade when they don't work ?
Better pads ?
Less than a year delay beetween the JAP realease and the EU/US one ?

I care less and less on songlist and new stuff now. If i can't play on the new cab how could i care ?

If they could do a true global release that starts at the same time with the same perfect cabs, then that'd be a miracle.

I'd Like to see:
*Some non-pop licenses in the CS version, like in DDRMAX.
*DDR X3 should have 2 more 19's on singles. A 20 should be on the next game after that.
