I'm not sure I've ever mentioned this on the ZIV forums, but I currently host a podcast on behalf of a large gaming company. Because of reasons outside of my control, the podcast is about to go on hiatus for few months, and besides appearing on another (american) podcast, I have all the time in the world to produce another in the meantime.
I'm really interested with the idea of producing a podcast around DDR, and other music games. There are a ton of really exciting games coming out in the next few months, 10 years of previous games to talk about, and a lot of awesome stories to be told on-air. It also gives me a chance to try and incorporate music into the podcast, which is something I've always been interested in, but never had the chance to do.
The co-host position has been filled by Max.

I'd give it a shot, but part of the problem lies in having a brother who constantly goes into my room whenever I'm on Skype and yells "Y U TALKIN 2 URSELF" obnoxiously. Repeatedly.

Aside from the last point, I have none of the above, even though this is interesting to me. I approve of this effort and am with you, just not so much in body, but in spirit...

As for the podcast idea, I still want to do this, but with limited access to the interwebs, I don't see how I can go about do this. As for now, I'm open to ideas and do my best to help out.//

I like the idea, though I don't think I could handle being a co-host... Maybe a guest if you all ever have something along those lines, but not a co-host. I'm having some issues with my mic anyway, since apparently on skype it makes "fart noises."

I like this idea. I'd like to try but I'd have to work out the scheduling although I think I'd be fine if it got planned well. Can it include more than just DDR? Please?

I can really see this shape up to be something pretty good for not just the site, but for the music gaming community on the internet if this does spread around (kind of like ScoreHero's podcast's). I would say keep it BEMANI for the first few episodes, then probably branch out to the other music games from North America into the mix and the such. You best damn know i will be speaking about DJ Hero, if we can get n00b-saibot he can vouch for Guitar Hero, silenttype01 for Rock Band, and other members here who know about other music games like Just Dance, Dance Central, Karaoke Revolution, etc.

I'd like to do something which is focused around DDR, but explores the whole music game universe, as a matter of interest. For example, each episode having a segment where we explore a different non-DDR music game, from the direct competition to the obscure pre-DDR games.

Haha, I was distracted and meant to say "Bemani games" but yeah I don't mind it being DDR centered. I'm fine with that. I feel that DDR is a large part of my life (and thought process) so I think I'd be alright talking about it, even comparing it to other music games even pre-DDR music games. Parappa the Rapper anyone?

Sounds like a cool idea, wish I could help but I'm not good at that sort of thing, either way it'll be interesting to hear the actual podcast.

Hey I've been busy, I can only do some many things at once here.I'll give a helping hand, i'm not co-host material but i can lend a voice every now and then
Anyway I would love to be a part of this and I have podcast experience.
The only road blocks I've ran into is...I don't know a good record program for it
Not many people have a skype account
If we have a week when nothing DDR related happens, then there's nothing to talk about.
BUMP: what about having more then one co-host. On the podcast I co-host, I'm more of a comic relief guy. I don't know if that will hurt or help on what you are looking for.

Sent in my recording, if anyone else wants to help out with this then just send Tyma a PM with a recording as to why MAX.(period) should or should not be in DDR II and send it to him.
