I hope that this place is correct for this thread. If not, please, tell me and I will move it to the correct location.
Hi everybody. Basicaly, I need help, and a lot of ideas. Do you all see my pic? I am an organizator of the spanish big community of DDR. The bemani in Spain was been so bad...machines that never arrives...konami refused to helping us...but, hey! No prob! Our community continued the work. Since the year 2000, we made a lot of tournaments, even national tournaments every year , and a lot of local tournaments. With Stepmania...an euromix 2...and later Supernova. IN fact, until 2008, the DDR here was good, you could call friends one evening and go to play DDR...but in 2008 we celebrated a national tournament..with an assistance of 200 people.

all alone...without help and without money. Only sponsors and effort.
But since 2008, all the way is down. In 2009, we celebrated a national tournament with only 20 players in total (that means for experts,amateurs and novices) and in 2010 , even with the first DDR X in spain, we celebrated the national tournament with only 13 players in total...
The path is getting worse now more than ever. In Barcelona ( a city of spain) there was the most active and huge community on DDR, and today...our organization in Barcelona decided to close. Luckily, a group of new players re-opened it again...but the situation is awful. We make announcements of tournaments, and nobody else comes...so we have to cancel it.
In the past, we get sponsored by a lot of marks like Coca Cola and Sony for the prizes. Now, we can't ask for anything to anybody, because we haven't players.
So, as you all can see, we need help. I am the boss of the organization in Madrid(capital of spain) and we have:
-3 supernovas (one of them broken)
-One DDR X (good, but with some fails in player 2)
-2 Euromix 2
The only place that allowed me to made a tournament was were the DDR X is. The other places refuses to help me or the machines are too bad or unplayables .
What can I do for revive the community? To attract new players? I'm so lost and so sad, because I am an enthusiastic of DDR and I can't progress and help. I am the champion of spain for 4 years, but it doesn't have merit. A national tournament with only 13 players is a regional or local tournament. NOT national.
So please, give me ideas to renew the DDR...like how to convince arcades for that they buy spare parts, upgrade kits...and how to convince the people to start playing and bring the community back like years ago.
