DDR [Wii] Sim Files -> Custom Songs and DVD -> Sim Files

Hi, I looked everywhere, but I could not find any answer, so if this was already discussed, sorry, perhaps I used the wrong search terms...

So my Idea is to take the Sim Files from the DDR Wii Game Disc (e.g. DDR HP3) and to convert them directly into Stepmania Files. I had a look at the game files on the disc and found the step files and decoded a small part of the format and have some steps now. But before I go more deeply into this, I want to know, if somebody already did this kind of work...

And the other way round, I could be possible to convert Stepmania Files into the Wii DDR game files, burn them on a disc, so it would be possible to include own songs in the Wii Game (although the background and the dancing would not match, and also song selection would be strange, but perhaps it is also possible to modifiy this..?)???

thanks for the quick reply. Basically, I wanted to have a stepchart from HP3, which is not yet avaiable in HP3 NA pack. So I wanted to save a little work

Which stepchart do you actually look for?

Kimono Princess (Difficult) and Pluto the First (Basic,Difficult,Expert).
BTW, of course I could try make them by myself, but I am also interested in importing own/stepmania songs into DDR.
I already decoded a part of the DDR HP3 stepfile scheme (arrows and timings), now I am at the freezes... My other goal would be to write a converter DDR->SimFile(Stepmania), but I am quite new to the SimFile Format, and general new at Stepmania, I will see how difficult it may get...
