[Theme/sm-ssc][WIP] DDRMAX2 and Friends

(all of these shots are in 16:9 because I'm lazy; the theme works the same in 4:3)

DDRMAX2 USA PS2 and Dancing Stage MegaMix will also be included at some point, but they are not high priorities.

I could release a very very early version of this right now, but I'm not happy with the theme yet. I'd like for both MAX2 AC and EuroMix2 to be pretty good before a release. (As usual, I've been testing in Event Mode and have left out a few screens that I didn't feel like doing.)

(No, I'm not using any of Takuya's work in this.)

BEGINNER, STANDARD, DIFFICULT... that's not going to confuse anybody!

Theme looks awesome, with a little tweaking it would look better at 16:9 (I hope you can find the time to make it know which aspect ratio it's in so the elements will space evenly). I always liked the 7thMIX/MAX2/EuroMIX 2 design, it never got old and it's still one of the best.

I'm not sure if he cares about tweaking it for 16:9

By default, in 4:3, it'll look like the original games.

I was asked "for widescreen mode are you going to move the scrollbar over?" and I may.

Is there any way to get the backgrounds/videos to display in there original proper aspect ratio on this? Just wondering if you might add in that option for your 16:9 stepmania themes including this one. Maybe add whatever mix logo for sidebars or something? Or will everything be stretched to 16:9 no matter what? Again just wondering on this. Hope I didn't offend you or anything. ^ _ ^ ;;

There's going to be two options; one is the stretched view, and the other (for arcade-only themes) would be to have parts of the arcade bezel be on each side.

So you mean they'll be that option for backgrounds/videos then? Just wanted to be clear on that.

No, the bezel idea would be for the theme at 16:9/16:10.

I don't know how to change the stretching of videos/backgrounds.

Oh ok then. I guess you would have to edit them with black bars on the sides and make the image 848x480 that way or something.

Looks great. I'm glad to see DDR themes being ported/created for SM5. Any estimate on a date of release for DDRMAX2 JP version?

Also, in screenshot #2, is it possible to center the words "STANDARD" in the bar instead of at the edge? It's just my opinion, but I think it'd look better if it was centered in the bar.
