I'm trying to customize a theme for my local church. The theme was TRINITY for 3.9. Basically I just added some custom BG images for the fallback and main menu and changed the bgmusic.
The initial screens were modified to show some random biblical phrases and I wanted to add some short corresponding music files to play during those screens, but I can't figure it out easily...
Can someone help, I can upload the theme and the audio files I want to include if that helps.

ok find out what the screens are called and then use that exact name in the sounds directory of the theme. You have to use a .redir file to reference the music file. If you dont know how to make a .redir file than just copy one and open it.
place your song file in the sounds folder and call it whatever you want then rename the .redir file whatever the screen name is. for example ScreenSelectStyle music or whatever the screen name is.
Open the redir file and type the name of the music file into it.
hope this helps

I tried what you said.
Changed the song titles to match the Screen names in the BGAnimation folder. Added .mp3's to the Songs folder, added a .redir file with the Screen name and referenced the name of the .mp3 (without the extension) in the .redir.
Played and no sounds...

Here's the theme and the audio files if you don't mind downloading and helping me on a more basic level...
There are 4 Audio Files for 4 Screens
AngelsCut.mp3 for ScreenAlbums background
LoveIsCut.mp3 for ScreenCaution background
JesusFreakCut.mp3 for ScreenCompany background
Hebrews12Cut.mp3 for ScreenWarning background
I'll probably re-do the Hebrews12Cut.mp3 to make it fade out better, and maybe the others also depending on how they sound in-game but only IF I CAN GET IT TO WORK. Please HELP!!
Also if you can tell me how to move the .lrc files down and display CDTitles, those are the only two nuances I dis-like about this theme, otherwise it's a perfect theme for a Church to have.

ok with the .lrc files, in the metrics scroll down to [screengameplay] and this should be there
LyricsDefaultColor=1,1,1,0.7 // white
LyricsOneReverseX=320
LyricsOneReverseY=9311
LyricsReverseX=320
LyricsReverseY=112
LyricsX=320
LyricsY=362
if it isnt then copy paste and it will work.
as for the CDTitles, in [screenselectmusic] copy and paste this
CDTitleBackCommand=spin;effectmagnitude,0,180,0;cullmode,front;diffuse,#333333
CDTitleFrontCommand=spin;effectmagnitude,0,180,0;cullmode,back
CDTitleOffCommand=sleep,0.266;accelerate,0.133;addx,-316
CDTitleOnCommand=hidden,1;addx,-316;sleep,0.2;decelerate,0.233;addx,327;linear,0.066;addx,-11
CDTitleSpinSeconds=2.112
CDTitleX=231
CDTitleY=173
if its already there than just replace... hope this helps for now will report back after i have tried the theme

Download its patch: http://www.mediafire.com/?rf69hck6f3yhozt
BACK-UP YOUR THEME FIRST before doing so the following. Extract the contents to your StepMania/Theme folder (assuming you didn't change your theme's name).
For sounds, put all your sound files to Sound folder of your theme, then rename them as follows:
AngelsCut.mp3 ----> ScreenAlbums music.mp3
LoveIsCut.mp3 ----> ScreenCaution music.mp3
JesusFreakCut.mp3 ----> ScreenCompany music.mp3
Hebrews12Cut.mp3 ----> ScreenWarning music.mp3
lastly, look for "ScreenCompany music.redir" in Sound folder, and delete it (since there is already "ScreenCompany music.mp3")

Worked like a charm, and the song cuts sound just fine.
This is a pimp church theme. Although I may change those SELECT DIFFICULTY images, and the theme logo.
I've got about 135 Christian songs and perhaps I'll add in some secular songs over time, but for now this is what I'll present.

It's mostly the Dance Praise simfiles, and then a bunch from PenguinMan, and some random songs from here/there including the 5 Christian simfiles I created.I could upload all the non-Dance Praise simfiles somewhere. As far as the theme, I have no problem sharing. Just keep in mind I'm hoping to complete the Dance Praise simfiles by the end of this month, I have 20 more challenge charts to write in order to be complete.
