Photoshop Tutorial Help

Hi, the other day I found a cool Photoshop tutorial I really wanted to try out. The problem is, I can't really understand it, I can get a few steps done but then I get really stuck because I don't know what the autor is refering to and where to place layers and where to apply effects and all that.

I'm wondering if, could somebody make a vid showing how to make the tutorial or a most comprehensive way so I can understand it?

Well, first off what Photoshop CS version are you using?

I'm not an expert like Dan is, but i've had/still am having my time with Photoshop CS4/CS5 so i might be able to help you out.

Ok I'm analyzing the tutorial right now. Which part are you getting stuck on? If you can tell me that, I can help you better. I think I could help you even more if I could stream my desktop to you and I can guide you through it but other than Skype, I don't know how to stream my desktop activity. From the looks of the those screenshots, it looks like he is using CS4 but those screens are too small to see anything.

Ok good CS5 will be a big help. I'm kind of feeling real drained because of having only four hours of sleep and people giving me unnecessary problems but let me know when you would like to me to start helping and I'll see what I can do and maybe I can simplify the steps for you.

This is my result, not as good as Dan's, but at least is the beginning to the lightning streaks power in PS =D
