So my lovely parents decided to bestow upon me a piece of their 30 year old wall unit to put my TV in and whatnot. However the piece of furniture shakes rather violently whenever I play DDR and is really distracting and dangerous as things stored on the upper levels and things around it fall from the shock waves of me stepping (I'm a big dude trying to pass 10s on the old scale - thus the shaking). Is there anything I should put on the bottom of the unit to prevent or even stifle the shaking?

One idea I had was to put some of that "Super Dense" DDR pad foam that could knock out a dude if you hit them hard enough on the bottom of the unit under each leg to act as shock absorbers. Any other suggestions or should I just give up playing DDR in my home because of this piece of cra- I mean lovely gift?
