As far as I know, Solo steps are limited to the two Arcade Solo games (Solo 2000 and Solo BASSMIX), but I don't know of any games that have Couple steps.
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I started wondering about these after seeing them in Stepmania, and I couldn't find the answer anywhere.

1st-2nd Mix have Couple steps. Solo steps are also featured in Konamix, Extra Mix and the CS version of 4th Mix, all for PS1.

As well as the original DDR and DDR 2ndMIX, 3rdMIX (and 3rdMIX PLUS) has "Unison" mode (somewhat similar to Couple steps) and 4thMIX (and 4thMIX PLUS) has "Battle" steps when playing a versus game (again, really these are the same as Couple steps).
(And, as has been mentioned already the 4 AC mixes with Solo step modes are DDR SOLO BASS, DDR SOLO 2000, DDR SOLO 4thMIX and DDR SOLO 4thMIX PLUS).

The PC version also had Battle steps, now that I think of it. 1 chart to a song, based off their original
charts.

KONAMIX only features a Solo mode. Any song that didn't already have Solo steps just plays their regular 4-panel chart for whichever difficulty you select. I can't remember if the same applies for 4thMIX CS or not. EXTRA MIX does this in reverse, since Solo machines don't have a Doubles mode, even though EXTRA MIX has Doubles all of the Solo songs not then already ported to the main DDR series (A good chunk of the soundtrack) just plays its 4-panel chart on the left side of the screen.

Are we going to step DDR Solo 2000's earth-shattering 3-panel mode, as well? :{

What the heck is 3-panel mode? Never heard of it.
And are these charts in the simfile database? Only the Single and Double steps can be viewed by clicking on the difficulty numbers in the category.

It's the beginner's mode on Solo BASS and Solo 2000. You have a chart comprising of three different pads: the Down, Up-Left and Up-Right arrows (though Left and Right arrows will work instead/as well as the diagonals, at least in Solo 2000).

I throw the Hands & Feet mode from the PS2 series and Hand Marker charts from Hottest Party in there as well.

You can't see them, but they're in the SMs. Oh, except for 4thMIX. P.S. Get on it please.
