"BAZINGA!!!" |
Okay, I recently managed to get a working backup copy of DDRMAX2-Dance Dance Revolution 7th Mix- for my PS2, but for some odd reason whenever I start the game up and it goes to load the system data file on my memory card, I get a message saying the following (even though it's in Japanese, I'm 100% positive this is what it says) "There is no system data file. Would you like to make one?" Now why the heck it's saying this i have no idea because when I first loaded it, I made a brand new system data file, so this is kind of starting to freak me out just a little bit. Also I have no idea if there is something wrong with the Disc, my PS2 (which is the old Chubby one by the way) or the memory card, but I'm pretty sure the save data is not corrupted because I made a brand new file, but I'm not 100% sure. I also know that the memory card isn't corrupted because it loads the JP CS version of DDR Extreme just fine. If anyone could tell me how to fix this problem, I would be a very happy camper.

I remember having a similar issue with the American DDRMAX2. I had a save from a release copy of the game and a newer copy of the game couldn't load it. Perhaps that's what's happening with you?

i cant fix your scores, but delete the old file and make a brand new one so only ONE file is on the card. load up extreme, go to options, memory card (or save/load, whatever the option is) and support 7th mix. this will fully unlock everything for you, but unfortunately i cant think of a way to get your scores back.
Aeron, i dont think its what you're saying because extreme is designed simply to support 7th mix, it has no option for "launch" 7th mix, "2nd print" 7th mix, etc.
